" We're here pikachu! " Ash and pikachu both stood outside their house, it had a red roof and white walls, a white fence surrounding the house as well as a garden. The duo walked twords the door and pushed it open

" Im home " the young trainer said as he looked around. ' I wonder where mom is? '

His mom came around the corner from the kitchen, along with her were some of Ash's friends, the people he traveled with. Walking twords the two were Delia, Brock, Misty, May, Max, Dawn, Iris and Cilan.

" Oh hey, what are you guys doing here? " The raven haired boy tilted his head and pikachu did the same. Not that the boy wasn't happy to see them, it was just the look they had on their faces that had mostly confused him.
' Why are they looking at me like that? They look sad, guilty but mostly.... angry? '

" Ash- " Max stared to say but May cut him off

" -Look, we all think that you should just give up on your dream! " May exclaimed, giving Ash a glare that was supposed to be threatening

" I- " Ash tried to say something but someone cut him off

" You've tried some many times yet you failed! Its about time to find something better to do than waste your life running after your foolish dream! " Misty shouted, others nodded in agreement.

" Pika! " Pikachus cheeks started sparking, wanting to zap them into obliteration. He would have had it not been for Ash who quietly whispered in a voice that only pikachu would be able to hear.

" Its ok buddy, i think we should just listen to what they have to say for now "

" Ash " Delia, Ash's mother began " I know that you really want to be a pokemon master but i think its time that you face the truth that you won't ever be able to achieve it " she took a couple steps closer to Ash " you can stay here and help around Pallet town or become a professor like Gary , there are many other things you can do that I know you'll be great at "

( Ash's POV )

"-other things you can do that I know you'll be great at " seriously? You gotta be kidding me, I remember you telling that you ' believed ' in me, that you would support me no matter what i chose to do with my life! Was that all a lie? What else have you been lying to me as well as others about? Why!?

" Your mom is right Ash. Through out your entire journey all you've done is slow people down, you've slowed us down as well. " Like you have any room to talk, Brock. Do you even remember that you were the one who decided to travel with me, you were stuck in your gym having to take care of your siblings alone. You never would have thought to become a doctor had it not been for my help!

"  It all leaves a sour taste in my mouth" congrats, maybe a mouth full of soap will fix that for you, hopefully it'll also make you speak like a normal person!

" Your such a little kid " figures you'd say that, Iris. Thats basically all you ever say!

I looked at all of them, the only ones who haven't really shared their opinions yet are Dawn and Max. They both look like they're thinking of what to say, everyone else is either glaring at me watching for my reactions or waiting for the others to comment.

'I do not know what but something shall come that can only be of others thoughts and actions ' Is this what the voice was talking about? ' The future is undecided, now you must chose what path you are to take and who walks beside you '

Dawn looked up from her feet and stared at me " you've put so many people in danger with your stupid actions, I'm surprised that we're all still alive " I could see in her eyes that she believed in what she said, they all did.

" I-i agree " That was all max was able to mutter out. They now all stared at me waiting, watching, wanting to know what I was gonna do now. What was my choice

" So Ash, what do you say " Brock's voice broke through the silence that covered the room. What was I to do? The truth is I already knew what my answer would be since the beginning of this dumb conversation, I just wanted to see what they all thought.
