" ASH KETCHUM!!!!! " The announcer yelled.

The crowed erupted with applause and cheers as he walked across the stage, waving with a smile across his face.

He wore his usual outfit ( Kalos outfit ) with the exception of his watch. He walked to the rest of the elites and frontier brains and began chatting with them.

" W-wha- " was all the traitors could say. Even professor Oak was surprised at this.

At least once every month he would get a call from Ash, the two would talk for so long until Tracy got back from the errands that Oak sent him on. Ash didn't want to let anyone else know where he was, so he asked the professor to keep it a secret and of course he would. Every so often he would update the trainer on how his mother and old friends are and what they were doing and Ash would do the same yet it was about the Professor's grandson, Gary. Ash told him that he met up with Gary in Kalos and that he was doing really well and gaining a lot of publicity. Although Ash never really mentioned how and what he was doing, the professor just assumed he was doing well, he didn't think it was something like this.

" Well folks lets hear the rules, shall we?! " The announcer said in a more calm voice. The crowed cheered once again. " Well champion, could you do that for us? "

" Yeah sure, why not! " He honestly didn't want to, but he couldn't turn it down if someone asked him.

He grabbed the microphone that someone gave him and spoke into it.

" Alright so who's ready to get this competition started! " Ash said as he raised his fist in the air. Everyone in the arena did the same as they cheered, even the elites and frontier brains. Ash let out a small chuckle at their reactions.

" So for this competition you will be randomly paired up against your opponent. It'll start out with 3 on 3 battles and progress from their. If you do lose in a battle, feel free to watch the rest of the battles and see the winner. Trainers competing, if you haven't already signed up you can do so now at the Pokemon center. The Pokemon centers nurse Joy will be providing a schedule telling who your opponent is, which arena its in and what time it starts at. You can pick those up tomorrow morning as we are starting the matches in the afternoon. " Ash explained.

" Thank you so much champion. Now that the rules are explained we have a sweet treat for all of you here and those watching at home! " The announcer said gaining the attention of everyone. " Now one of the champions of the other regions will have the chance to battle Kalos's! "

All the other champions were in a special stand along with gym leaders (Brock, Misty, Cilan too). It was kinda like a room but one of the walls was torn down so they could watch the battle field, red velvet chairs were placed near the the edge where a small wall was there so that no one could fall down.

All the different champions were extremely excited while they looked around to see who was to battle Ash.

On the other hand Ash was shocked, he hadn't heard or planned this. Its not like it mattered in the end, being champion he's had to do stuff like this once or twice before, but not in such a big event.

The announcer took notice of the questioning look Ash gave him.

" Oh yeah, I guess we forgot to tell you. " He said as he rubbed the back of his head.

" Before hand, yeah. " Ash said putting his left hand on his hip " but it sounds like fun anyway! "

" Great! With that said, lets see who will be battling against you! " The speaker pointed twords a screen that was above Ash and the others.

The profile pictures of the champions began switching between each other as everyone waited.

" Why don't you just battle all of them? " Gary whispered to Ash.

" Because it doesn't work like that, idiot" Ash retorted.

" Then how does it work? " Gary asked.

" With you shutting up. "

" Thats quite rude coming from you, Ashy-boy " Gary taunted him.

" This is just the beginning. " Ash gave him a quick glare while cracking his knuckles.

Gary stepped back with his hands up in defense. He probably shouldn't piss Ash off, not with the competition in play.

The screen then stopped and the picture of Cynthia was displayed.

' Yes! ' Cynthia thought.

' This might be fun ' Ash thought as a smirk appeared on his face.

Yay! Another chapter done! Sorry its not that long, I wanted to save the rest for the next chapter.
