I must've fallen asleep during the car ride. I woke up half asleep. It was pitch black outside, but I could make out the direction the road was going in because of the headlights against the road.

"Where are we?" I ask, picking myself up from my seat. "I can't tell you!" Malcolm smiles and leans in for a kiss.

I swipe my hand across his face and I slouch down in my seat again.

I stare out the window. We pass a water tower, and I try to read the name on it, but it's too dark and hidden by tall trees. I grunt and lean on Malcolm's shoulder.

About 20 minutes later, Malcolm stops the car.

"Cover your eyes." He instructs. I put my hands over my eyes and he steps out of the car, soon after her opens my door and helps me out. My eyes are still covered, and he leads me a few meters away from the car.

"Alright. Open your eyes." Malcolm whispers. I slowly open my eyes, and the view took the words from my mouth. I was speechless.

There were mountains farthest from us, before the mountains stood plenty of sky scrapers, and before the sky scrapers was a big, green hill. It reminded me of 'The Sound Of Music.'

As I stood there, astonished, Malcolm rushed to the car and a few seconds later, rushed back. He put down a blanket and sat me down.

Unfortunately, my fangs came out.

"This is lovely, but we need to leave." I quickly say, standing up.

"Why?" Malcolm asked, lifting himself up to stand beside me. "..Oh, I can't keep a secret from you.." I mumble. "What are you talking about?" He asks. Clearly he's very confused.

I look down, then at Malcolm. I smile, revealing my fangs. He stands back, afraid I'm going to bite him. But he smiles. A smile of trust. He picks up my shoulders and kisses me.

"I'm sorry." I mumble through our locked lips. "For what?" Malcolm asks, detaching our kiss. "Keeping this from you. And you're not scared?" I feel like tearing up. "I've met plenty of vampires before, all of which I trust." He smiles.

I smile with him, and I hug him.

Tightly.

"And I promise."

I start.

"I don't bite."
