Find a way out...

Frantically, I ran around looking for a way out. I went around the building, looking in every door.

I came across torture rooms mostly, but I also found Lucy's bedroom. I went inside, she could've had a clue in there!

It was a neat room, decorated like any typical teenager's. I opened the drawers and cubboards but found nothing. I sat on her bed and looked at her bedside table. A framed picture of her and her father stood there. It was very old and black and white. They didn't look like they did now. They looked normal, like human beings. They were next to each other, smiling. They both looked so happy.

I picked up the frame and studied the picture. I paid attention to the background.

A barn. Of course! The barn!

Lily and her friends always met in the barn. Lucifer found me when I went to the barn. He probably got me here through the barn. Which means the exit would be the barn!

I put the frame back and kept searching. I looked for a door with some source of light that was either dark black or white. It would be easy since hell was completely red.

I ran through every hall there was, looking underneath every door for light. It felt like I had been looking forever.

When I finally checked every door, I stopped and cleared my head.

It's probably where I least expect it. Where would it least likely be? The cells.

If they caught anyone, they could bring them straight to the cells! It made so much sense!

I headed for the cells. I ran down the incredibly long hallway of cells until I saw it.

There was the door I'd been looking for, with a dark black light shining underneath. I couldn't believe it was right there the whole time.

I opened the door and all I saw was a blinding light.

***

I was lying on a bed of hay. I was in the barn. I was still wearing the gown. I smiled and started crying, relieved that I made it home. I struggled to open my eyes so I let myself sleep.

A man was carrying me to a police car when I woke. I was disorientated and everything was hazy.

"Relax, Malika. I'm a police officer. I'm taking you to the hospital and then I'll call your aunt to tell her you're here. It's really a miracle!" he said. He gently put me in the car and we drove to the hospital.

"How long has it been?" I asked weakly.

"Two years," he said from the driver's seat," We've been searching for your bodies for a while now."

"Have you found my family?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, but no. You're the first clue we've gotten. We're going to have to ask you a few questions after you're a bit better." he said.

"Okay." I sighed. The tears came falling down.

"It will be okay. We're doing everything we can to find your family." he said.

"Don't bother," I whispered," They're all gone."
