Months. It must've been months. I planned my every move.

1. Locate something sharp.
2. Play nice. Act as I would.
3. Wait until they are vulnerable.
4. Kill them.
5. Find the escape.

All I had to do was wait for the perfect opportunity. I never knew when that would happen. The devil family were unpredictable. A father and daughter of despicable and horrifying principles. I was afraid that I would fail and they would kill me, but I had to risk it, for my family.

Another memory, from long ago. I didn't know I remembered it.

I was a baby. Mother cradled me in her gentle arms. Father was holding her and watching over us. He smiled at us with love in his eyes.

A four year old Lily walked into the room and Mother placed me in her arms. She was beautiful. I smiled at my sister.

"Mommy! Daddy! She smiled at me! Does she like me?" she cried.

"She loves you!" they laughed.

Lily looked into my eyes and smiled. I could tell that she loved me too.

"Lily, we need to tell you something." Mother said.

"Since we have another baby in the family, it's going to cost us more money," Father sighed, taking me from Lily," and I'm going to have to work harder and more than I usually do."

Lily looked scared and upset. Her eyes filled with tears. She didn't understand what that meant, but she knew it was bad from my parents' expressions.

"So it's all Malika's fault that Daddy has to work more?" she asked.

"Lily, don't think of it like that-" Father began.

"No! It's all her fault! I don't want to be her sister!"

Lily ran out of the room as my parents cried.

That explains a lot.

I woke up to silence, which was very uncommon. Lily was still in her cell.

Lucy walked in and, as she was about to open Lily's cell, turned to me.

"I think I've been too hard on Lily. I haven't done anything to punish you!" she giggled.

I felt my heart sink. I was still alive! I could just imagine the torture they'd put me through!

Lucy opened my cell and dragged my light body out. I stood up and followed her out. Lily said and did nothing.

The room was just as I remembered. The muscle texture and look. Red light shone everywhere.

"I'm not going to hurt you," she said to me," Dad wants to show you something."

I panicked. I had no idea what he wanted with me and my body shivered in fear. It would be harder to find my way out when Lucifer had his eye on me the whole time.

I followed Lucy to a room in the far west wing. The door was made of decaying wood. Lucy knocked loudly on the door. Lucifer opened it and stuck his head out from the side.

"Malika! Please, come in!" he said, walking back into the room so I could walk in. Lucy pushed me in and locked the door behind me.

It was a bedroom. A large king size bed stood in front of me and cubboards were lined across the wall next to it. A mirror covered the entire left side wall.

Something sharp...

"Malika," he said, snapping me out of my trance," come here."

He was lying on the bed, beckoning me to join him.

"What am I doing her?" I asked, trying to sound tough but my voice shook.

"I have another suprise for you."
