Chapter 18: Smile and Vivian
-Vivian's P. O. V.-
Samaria had to go back to her house because her mom needed her to do some stuff so I left where we reunited. I also forgot to get her phone number, so go forgetfulness! I laughed at my pathetic breakdown that I had in front of her. And like I had said earlier, I don't cry in front of people instead of like those 5 times. One when my dad died, then when mom got taken away, then when my foster parents died, and then my nightmare, and finally, when I told Samaria about my past. And those last 3 weren't even in 2 days. But anyways, I reached my house and I walked up the steps and before I turned the knob, I could hear...laughter. And it sounded like Jeff's voice. I took a deep breath, hoping that if what I see him laughing at or with, will be okay for my eyes. If you get what I mean. I giggled at my mind but immediately stopped. I put my hand on the door knob and turned it slowly, with my other hand, fingers crossed, behind my back. I opened the door slowly and when I looked straight ahead, I saw Jeff with a huge smile on his face, literally, and when I looked over, I saw a husky with a huge smile plastered on its face and I looked at it in awe. He was adorable. Even with that unsettling sharp-toothed smile spread across its face. "Hey Viv! Look who I found!" Jeff said with such happiness that I've never heard out of him. He walked over to the dog and kneeled down to its level and petted its head. "This is Smile. He is, somehow alive, and he found me! It's been a while since I've seen this young dog!" The dog named Smile looked at me and I looked at him. But suddenly, the dog changed and its fur was now red and black, its eyes were wide open and the eyes that were once blue and big, were now a reddish orange and small. I could hear static and in the static, a demonic voice said:
"SpReAd ThE wOrD..."

I backed up and fell over my foot but I still kept on moving away from Smile and Jeff. The dog then got up and slowly walked over to me and my vision blurred. "Sleep..." It said and I then fell into a realm of darkness.
