This chapter is unedited, so sorry ^_^; I hope it lives up to your expectations so yeah enjoy haha I also have a new little mix story that you should check out on my works! It's called D.N.A.: a story of how a band broke the hearts of millions.

Jade's POV

I'm fifteen minutes late, but I don't think she'd mind all that much...right? I park my car across from where Perrie's house is. It's a lovely petite thing. I'd consider it a little plain jane if it weren't for the flowers adorning most of the front yard. It was still pretty typical suburbs though. I took a deep breath, mentally preparing myself. The last time Perrie and I were stuck in a room together, she told me she didn't want to be strangers. I don't think I can be friends with her either though. Not when I still have feelings for her lingering about. It's all so frustrating. And seeing her now had butterflies attacking my stomach. I'm way more nervous than I should be.

"You should make a pact with yourself," I mumbled to myself. Yeah, that's probably a good idea. Try to be friends with Perrie, and lose the feelings for her. She's happily married with a kid on the way. You don't want to be the reason that kid wouldn't have a father. Right? "Okay, I can do this! I can lose the feelings. I can do that." Even that didn't sound so convincing to my own ears. I shook the thought away, and got out of the car. I locked it before heading towards her front door, and ringing the doorbell a few times.

Perrie opened the door slightly before opening it all the way. "Hey, sorry I'm late the tra- whoa!"

Suddenly Perrie took a hold of my arms, and yanked me inside the chaos.

"Oh my God WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! I LITERALLY HAVE AN HOUR TO MAKE THIS DINNER PERFECT!" she looked like she was near to tears. I felt bad. Zayn put a lot of pressure on his pregnant wife. Not good. Especially for Perrie, who stresses over the littlest things. I gripped her shoulders, trying to get a hold of her. "Perrie, calm down. Breathe. All this stress is bad for the baby. Now have you started on anything?"

She shook her head, "I waited because I didn't want to mess it all up. I only have some ingredients. I can't replace them in time if I mess things up."

"Okay, uhm, let's go make dinner."

...

"Pass the salt." I instructed, placing my hand out for the mineral. Perrie tosses me the salt shaker before continuing on with her task of cutting the onions.

"I don't understand why we have to make soup. I thought we were making burgers?" she grumbles as she cut abnormally cut the onions in record time.

"Do you want this to be perfect?" I ask. She nods, pouting.

"Then you're going to need more than just burgers. Have they defrosted yet?" I looked over my shoulder as she poked at the patties with her knife. She shook her head. "Why are they hard as rocks?!" She sighed, placing the onions in a bowl before wiping down her cutting board and grabbing the carrots. I grabbed the bowl of onions and tossed half in the soup. "Well, it's your fault for leaving them in the freezer."

"Hey! I didn't know!" She defended.
