Uhhh prepare for a lot of time skips

Barely edited. Please help

^ the reason why I say this often is cause I proofread these right before I go to bed. So I'm all tired and lazy and I'm prolly having a lot of grammar and spelling errors.

K bye

"Please be nice..." I whispered. I slowly brought the seeds closer to Bertha. Ms. Rose told me to hand feed her for the first few seconds to coax her into eating, but there was no way I was going to put my hand close to her mouth. She definitely wanted to kill me. The chicken may seem nice and innocent, but I swear if I didn't lock my door at night, she'd eat me in my sleep.

"Nice chicken... Nice chicken." I slowly poured the seeds into a pile in front of her. She tilted her head, and pecked my hand.

"OUCH!" I jerked my hand away. "Son of a creeper!" I pressed the bite into my shirt to stop the slight pain. When it went away a few seconds later, I glared at the chicken, who was looking at me with her head still tilted. "You're lucky I can't fry you up."

She clucked at me loudly, and stood up. I yelped and moved back a few steps.

"Getting beaten up by Bertha, I presume?" Ms. Rose shut the door behind me, making me jump.

My face reddened. "No."

She chuckled. "She can be a wild one. However, you're being a baby."

I jolted my head back. I did not expect her to insult me like that. "Did you just insult me?"

"I believe you kids call it a roast."

I just got roasted by an old lady. Harsh.

"I just didn't see her coming." I defended myself.

She raised an eyebrow. "A big guy like you?" Ms. Rose tutted. "Maybe you need to train some. Become a better warrior."

"Okay." I pushed my hands down. "Okay. I didn't know this was pick-on-Sky Day. And I'm a good warrior."

She shrugged. "Very well. Maybe you can go have someone train you."

"There's someone that can do that?" I asked, eyebrows raised.
