The walls have ears
They'vs heard it all.
Like our first time
After the prom ball.
They heard our moans;
Such innocent, pure love.
They heard our heavy breaths,
Because we both like it rough.
The walls have ears.
They hear everything.
From your phone conversations,
To the music you sing,
From the tap tap tapping
Of your thumbs as you text,
To the turning of a page
As you go from one to the next.
The walls have ears.
They've heard all your fears.
They know that you miss me
From the dripping of your tears.
They heard the fight
Between you and your dad.
How I'm a bad influence,
Our love was driving him mad.
The walls have ears.
They have feelings,too.
They felt you slammed against them,
You were bloodied and bruised.
They felt your hand's scratches,
As you tried to get away.
But your daddy was taken by liquor.
With death, you'll now stay.
