Epilogue

I spent about it three months in England, I quit my job back in LA and I haven't worked since then. I've been seeing the same therapist from before and he gave me the all clear to go find love, I'm still not 100% but he thinks I'm ready

So here I am in LAX with Alex waiting for Andrea to pick us up, I haven't talked to Chris in a few weeks and I have hundreds of calls and messages from him, I told Andrea to tell him I'm find and to give me sometime, and the calls and messages stopped. I've also received some messages from Gavin, I believe he's in LA.

I smiled as Andrea stepped out of her car with a flat stomach, I'm kind of Sad I missed the birth of her children but I was focusing on myself.

"I missed you" I smiled and gave her a hug

"I missed you to, how are you doing?" We strolled to her car, Alex was on his phone so he only blew a kiss for Andrea

"I've never been this happy with things. How's work" she placed my luggage in her car and we bother entered the car

"Same a usual but you are missed. I'm glad you came in time for the Christmas party" every year the Ambrosi family had a Christmas party and I was going to surprise Chris

"Can we go over to your house, I didn't exactly book a hotel"

We got to her house and Alex and I was introduced to the twins, they definitely made me want to have children but at a later date for sure, I'm not ready yet

Andrea and I spent the afternoon getting ready for the party which was being held at Angelo's parents hotel. I was more than nervous

I wore a floor length, black mermaid dress. Andrea wore a fitted red halter dress which was also floor length and Alex had a blue Armani suit. The ride to the hotel was long as the hotel was in a more secluded area, we were driven there since Andrea didn't want to drive.

"Where's Angelo?"

"He had to supervise the set up since his parents were coming in today from Italy" butterflies filled my stomach as we entered the hotel, it must have been really expensive to build this hotel, everything inside was clean and seamless. Red, green, gold and silver decorations was everywhere

"Come on, let's go to the ballroom" Andrea and I linked arms and went the ballroom, there were quite a few people there my eyes analyzed the room, where was Chris?

"Angelo's other there by the bar, he may know where Chris is" she dragged me through the crowd of people

"Brie?, I didn't expect you" I unlinked my arm with Andrea's and gave Angelo a hug. Kimberley stood at Angelo's side and looked flustered at the sight of Alex, when he noticed a bright smile grew on his face

"It been a while, I hope you're alright" I nodded

"If your looking for Chris he hasn't arrived yet, he's always late to these things. If you'll excuse me I have to go yell a some waiters" Andrea sighed and followed Angelo

"Kimberley would you like to dance with me" she nodded and I shot her two thumbs up as they disappeared into the crowd

"Brie?" I turned to face someone I wasn't expecting

"You look wonderful"

"What the hell are you doing here?"

"I'm staying at the hotel, I saw you come in here. I mean we never really broke things off, I though maybe we could take" I dragged Gavin out of the ballroom and into what looked like an office

"Talk"

"We haven't seen each other in months you haven't answered any of my texts or calls" I rolled my eyes
