BREONNAS P.O.V

Me, (Y/N), Dan, and Phil had already set a date to go back home, but unfortunately that has been delayed due to family issues of my own.

I don't have much family, but I knew that my mom and dad were going to be in town today, so figured I'd go to stay for a day before I left for the hospital.

I have my mom, dad, and brother. The rest of my family is either dead or somewhere unknown to me; lost I guess you could say

My brother, Peyton, is 14 years old and fighting lung cancer. He's always had a positive out look on his life though. Even though when he looks in the bathroom mirror and stares back at a blue lipped, hairless child, he turns away with his eyes glowing with determination and passion.

He knows he's dying, but he's strong. He lives his life happily anyways. I've always respected that of him.

I told (Y/N) and Dan where I was headed for the night and they nodded back in response, telling me to have a nice time.

I felt weary leaving (Y/N) with Phil, but at least Dan was there. And besides, I needed to visit my brother.

I grabbed a couple of days worth of clothes and threw it in a bag along with my laptop, and it's charger.

Before I left, I wanted to talk to (Y/N) just to make sure she'd be ok on her own. I didn't want to tell her just yet that I knew about her and Phil fearing it would cause her to panic, but I'd do whatever I could to make sure she's content. Even if I hinted it.

"Hey,  (Y/N). Can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked.

I glared over to Dan who was in the room too. He automatically understood and walked out of the room nodding his head.

Once I heard the door shut, I looked bad at (Y/N) and began.

"Are sure you'll be ok here without me? Because I know you get uncomfortable a lot in these weird sort of situations, so I just want to make sure before I went to see my family..." I shifted my eyes to the side, frowning upon the memory of my brother.

"Breonna, even if I wasn't going to
be ok on my own, I'd still tell you to go. You and your family is far more important than me. I mean, for god sakes."

"You moved all the way to London for a good school and a good job just to give more than half the money to your parents to support your brother. I see how much you care. So please, don't let anything or anyone stop you." She said passionately as smiled whilst her eyes gazed into mine.

Her eyes were so filled of innocence and wisdom. But you can see a bit of dryness to them. As if they were eyes that've been through, and seen too much. But even though she's seen and cannot unsee, she's pure. She's never done anything; any harm; herself.

"Ok." I whispered whilst grinning.

"Then," I grabbed the bag I set onto the floor.

"I'll see you soon, Breonna." (Y/N) whispered as we held an embrace.

"Good luck." She smiled as she walked back into her room. I walked down the hall and over to where the elevator was located on our floor.

I pressed the button to the lobby and waited.

Finally, the doors released and I made my way out.

I'd already called the desk, so I hadn't any need to check out now.

As I walked by, I noticed Phil standing there, looking as if he were checking out also. I gave sort of a brow-furrowed/ confused look craving to ask him where he was going, but the glare he sent my way persuaded me otherwise.
