YOUR P.O.V

Breonna and Dan had left the room to go gather some of the breakfast the hotel provided in early morning.

Still shaken from my nightmare, I forced my self to get up for today was the day I promised to get breakfast with Caleb.

Later after the call, we found a place and arranged a time by text, so I did know where to go and what time I had to be there by.

I walked into the bathroom and leaned my body against the cold, dark granite to grab a wash cloth and wipe the smudged mascara from all around my eyes and cheeks.

I sighed as I grabbed my makeup bag, brought out my cover-up, and dabbed it on the blemishes of my face.

I smiled a bit after seeing my skin appearing clearer and softer. After, I brought out my eyeliner pencil and drew out a straight line where my eyelashes began to give the impression they were fuller.

I then applied a couple layers of mascara, some light brown eyeshadow, and brushed some blush onto my cheeks.

"There." I said, happy with my appearance.

"Now... where did I put that dress I brought?" I thought to myself, searching endlessly throughout my luggage.

"Ah! Finally..." I excitedly whispered. I held up a knee-cut black and dress that I bought back in London a while back for a job interview at Pied à Terre, a fancy and expensive restaurant within the area. (A job of which I did not get, unfortunately)

I threw the dress on and went back into the bathroom to (Curl/straighten/scrunch/etc) my hair. Once I've finished doing so, I sat onto the bed and went on my phone for the directions to the location.

*BREONNA'S P.O.V*

"Dan... can I ask you a question?" I inquired.

"Yeah, sure? What's up?" Dan turned to me casually, yet still showing concern.

I wanted to ask Dan a question that raised my anxiety, even if it was ridiculous to do so. I was just so troubled about the situation that I couldn't help but to become nervous.

"D-don't you think that... that (Y/N) and Phil have been acting strange lately? I-I mean... not that I'm blaming anyone for anything," I continued.

"but... she seems jumpier as well and I just.. I don't know," We walked into the elevator.

"O-oh..." Dan's eyes widened an amount.

"Well I don't know... haha" he laughed nervously.

"Maybe things are just awkward for them now since they share feelings?" Dan looked to the left of me and started playing with his fingers

"Yeah... maybe."

I looked down at the ground silent and so did Dan. The way he tried to laugh it off seemed suspicious, and I couldn't help but think he knew something that I did not.

I flicked my head up and spun around so I could look Dan in the eye.

"Please Dan..." I stared at him pleadingly.

"You aren't acting normal. Please, if anything really is going on, I don't want to continue being totally oblivious to it. It's starting to bother me."

Dan scoffed at himself silently whilst looking sad at the same time.

"Look Breonna." He spoke in a loud whisper.

"If you know what's good for you, you won't get into their problems."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Dan spread apart his lips as if he were to say something more, but while doing so, he was interrupted by the elevator door sliding open and he walked out, leaving me standing confused for a couple of seconds.

"Wait!!" I called running next to him as he walked over to where the breakfast was laid out.

"Look Breonna, I'll explain it another time ok? I just don't want to get into it right now.." Dan whispered with annoyance and despair.

"Yeah.. "

I grabbed two plates. One for myself, and another for (Y/N). Dan doing the same for both Phil and himself.

We both grabbed eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Once we finished getting our orange juice as well, we made our way into the elevator and back to our room.

"Here (Y/N)," I handed her the plate.

"Oh! I'm sorry.. I forgot to tell you. I will be going out to eat in just a few minutes here actually. Thank you though." I nodded.

I set down the plate and orange juice and walked over to her to examine her freshly done hair.

"Oh my goSHH!!" I excitedly yelled.

"You never do your hair this good! Must be something fancy."

"It's just my hair Jesus Christ." She laughed.

"AHHH and look at your outfit you're so elegant today! Whose the lucky man?" I said in an especially posh tone.

"I'm going to meet my childhood friend Caleb today... we have a lot to discuss." She began to walk away with her head hung lower.

My happy expression turned to sympathy as I held my head under hers to see her eyes.

I've always looked into people's eyes when curious of their state because there's so much to learn from them. You an always tell how someone is truly feeling from their eyes.

"Hey..." I lifted her head back up and she gave me a smile of which I returned.

"You'll be fine." I laughed out slightly.

"Thank you" she said as she turned toward the clock.

"Ah jeez, I gotta go now! Bye Breonna!" She made a swift exit out the door and I sat down to eat my breakfast.

*YOUR P.O.V*

It's been a while since I've last seen Caleb, and I was becoming quite nervous. Breonna calmed me down a bit, but I was still weary about the situation.

The hotel we went to was a little strange. Every time you left the hotel you had to check out, even it wasn't to leave permanently, so it took me a minute or so to do that.

My face became tense as I stepped outside, the cold breeze hitting me with force.

I pulled my keys out my pocket and pressed the button that honked my horn so I could remember where it was I parked.

Once I was in my car, I put the keys into their slot and set my purse over on the passengers seat.

As I set my purse down, I froze in shock. I slowly lifted my purse to find i had set it on top of an injection needle.

I may not be accepting, but i was certainly not stupid. I had every bit of an idea what was happening to me.

Still frozen, I thought to myself.

Why did something like this always happen when I was even the least bit excited or happy? I came here for a new life.. A new beginning. But it was becoming everything I'd hoped it wouldn't.

Caleb... Will he- no- can he help me?

Someone, I should tell someone... right?

Finally, I just casually turned the engine on as the cold tears fell down my cheeks.

Dear God...

What's wrong with me?
