There she is, the rich snobby girl that everyone hates, Alice Hampton. Well not everyone, mostly me but that's not the point, the point is that I hate her with all my guts, she is a bully and sadly she is also the prettiest girl in school. Of course she is that how she is so popular; she has a heart of stone. I am Eliza Harris, the outsider, the clever one that no-one notices.

See, we go to an all-boys school. Ok. That must be confusing, Years 7-11 are all boys, and then year 12-13 are mixed, allowing girls in from other schools as well as more boys. I hoped that cleared that up. Being a girl in an all-boys school is very intimidating, especially after going to an all-girls school for the beginning part of Secondary School. I did go to a mixed school for Primary but that was when girls thoughts of boys as rodents and vice versa. Me being a girl who stayed in at the week-ends, did homework and only left the house when needed, I didn't know many boys my age, actually any age. The only boys who actually said hello to me were my brother and my brother's friends when they came over. In other words, it was a weird experience and I didn't like it.

Alice and I both went to the same secondary school and unfortunately the same primary school. We were in fact friends, best friends, and as you can tell the cliché thing happened, she got more attention from boys and dropped me as a friend. I don't really know why as I didn't do anything to hurt her, it was probably 'because I was an outsider, someone who didn't socialise, as I like to put it, a social moth.

We are in Year 12; you must be confused how she is so popular if we are in Year 12. Alice is known by everyone, and I mean everyone, got to a Year 7 and ask who she is, they will know. It is the beginning of the Spring Term, Christmas is over and we all got back to school.

At this very moment I am sat in the six-form common room, waiting for the bell to ring for us to go to Period 1. I am sat in the very corner of the room going through my notes from last term. I check my phone every page as I can't wait to leave this room and get to my first lesson, I.T. I am about to check my phone for about the tenth time, and guess who is walking over to me. Yep, you guessed it, Alice fricking Hampton. She is followed by her usual posse. She has a slight smirk on her face and I am scared for my existence now.

"Ahh look who it is everybody, Eliza Harris, the virgin." Yes, I am a virgin, got a problem with that? I am 17 and I haven't had sex yet, it's an apocalypse. Note the sarcasm. She is literally shouting it to the whole room, which at the moment is completely full. I actually don't give single fudge as I am proud to be a virgin unlike her who lost her V-card when she was fourteen to Zach Samuels. I feel sorry for Zach now as he is sitting across the room. Every starts laughing at me so I stand up and prepare myself for my brilliant comeback.

"Hi Alice... When did you lose your V-card, ohh wait I know! It was when you were fourteen and to who again, ohh I remember, Zach Samuels. Classy! If I think back it was after the school disco, in a classroom, under the tables! Wow what an experience it must have been." There is a round of "Oooh"'s and everyone stops and stands with their mouth wide open. Alice's face is hilarious and before she can speak I add... "Isn't that right, Zach?" I look at him and he is in utter shock while I have the biggest smirk on my face proud of what I had just done. I walk out of the common room, more like strut. That was the best comeback I have ever made in my entire life and I had no clue where it came from. You didn't think I could do it did you? To be honest neither did I.

Just to be clear, Zach Samuels is the head boy at our school. He is the equivalent to Alice, but with a bigger ego. He is the person to date and be around, I for one hate his guts just like I hated Alice's, her a bit more. He was a player but he is dating Alice at the moment. They are a perfect match.

I walk to my locker to collect my books for my I.T class. It is really boring as Miss Cole doesn't stop rambling but luckily I sit next to my best, friend Rosanna Croft. We also came to St. Adrian's School for Boys together; we both also had the pleasure of going to school with Alice since Primary. Lucky us! Rosanna and I are like sisters, we are so similar it is unreal, well not in look but personality we are.
