Today was really fun for a change. My double art lesson was fun as we were drawing tonal portraits and they're my favourite, I mostly messed around with Lucy, she was unique and different to my other friends but we had a lot in common. At lunch, Luke, Rosanna and a few others of my close friends sat on the school field as even though it was January it was warm outside, well not warm but it wasn't freezing. We mostly talked about random stuff like TV programmes and films. Today we did get into a massive debate on which our favourite Marvel superhero was. I couldn't decide between Captain America as he was hot and had super strength, Spider-Man as he could swing from buildings but still got an ordinary life with love, even though Gwen Stacy dies, or Black Widow as she is perfection as well as skilled.

After we ended that discussion, we started discussing our favourite songs; there was no point in me even trying to pick a favourite song from my favourite band so I suggested everyone's all-time favourite dance party anthem, YMCA! After the multiple rejections of my suggestion I thought it was best, for educational purposes to play the song as I naturally had it on my phone. In the end, we were all dancing to the YMCA like 11 year olds at their last school disco in the middle of a dance competition where the prize is a large chocolate bar. It was a sight to see all right. We all listened to our music whilst talking to each other and we would burst out into song when our favourite verses came on; this was normally me and because it is me I act as thought I am in the band so I do a performance which amuses everyone else. That is basically what we do at lunch every day, weird I know.

I was in the middle of my study period when my phone buzzed in my blazer pocket. Deciding to ignore it as I was in the middle of drawing an eye and I was determined to finish, I continued. I felt my phone buzz a few seconds later and ignored it again, they could wait. I was just finishing off my eye when my phone repeated its action and I finally decided to check what was interrupting me.
