"Yes! Yes! In your face!"
"What?! No, that can't happen! How?!"
"Baby Peach loses once again!" I jump up and start dancing round the room, celebrating my win on Mario Kart.
"No, that didn't just happen." I am still dancing round his front room, while Luke is lying on his couch in defeat with his hands covering his face. He was determined to win against me at Mario kart but he doesn't know that I play it with my brother when we are bored and have nothing to do and that is a lot and I played it all the time over the holiday on my own as I had nothing else to do.
"How does it feel Luke to have Baby Mario beat you four times in a row?!" I was now hovering over Luke, still dancing and laughing. He had now moved his hands away from his face and they were spread out, one on the top of the couch and the other one hanging off the couch and touching the floor; his feet were hanging off the end of the sofa as he was so tall and he wouldn't fit on the sofa properly.
"How did you do that?" He sat up as stared at me as if I was an alien from outer space come to dissect his brain. His eyes were wide and his mouth was parted in shock; he looked adorable.
"Pure skill, grasshopper" I bowed in front of him like a Jedi. He just glares at me, which just make me laugh. He frowned and slouched back on the couch, flinging his long arms to the side of him once again. I fell down on the floor, exhausted from all the dancing.
"I'm exhausted now," I crossed my arms over my chest; I closed my eyes and then looked back at Luke who was still on the couch, frowning.
"Karma," I let out a laugh at his comment and then looked back at the chandelier they had on the ceiling admiring it. I had always wanted one of my own as I always thought that they were beautiful, especially in the sunlight, with all of the reflections from the crystals, it would make a perfect photograph or painting.
"I am going to leave you here as you are annoying me now," I watched him as he stood up from the couch and looked down at me where I was laying on the floor. "Bye." He nodded at me and began walking away from me. I didn't want him to leave so I reached out and grabbed his leg. He screamed as he didn't expect it and then fell forward landing on his back. It turned out that he was in the middle of turning around when I grabbed him so he actually fell backwards.
"Ow" he groaned from in front of me. He had his eyes closed and his legs were tangled up with my hand still grasping his right ankle.
"Opps" I gave him a sheepish smile when he glared at me. I just laughed it off and stepped over him, making my way to the kitchen to get a drink. I had been to the house before for a few dinners combining our families because of my brother ad Amylia but I hadn't really gotten to know the place.
As I walked into the kitchen I could hear Luke behind me. I opened the cupboard that had the glasses in, remembering from when I helped set up the table a few months back, and got out two glasses.
"Shouldn't I be serving the guest?" Luke asked from the doorway on the kitchen.
"Well, you looked a bit preoccupied on the floor back there," he glared at me while I chuckled. "I thought I would help myself." I filled up the two glasses with water and then handed one to Luke.
As I took my first sip, I heard a door slam. Luke and I exchanged looks, wondering who it was. Our mental question was answered when Zach walked into the kitchen and stopped in the entrance.
"What is she doing here?!" he pretty much spat out.
"I invited her round." Luke replied, quite calmly compared to Zach. Zach just scoffed and turned around to go up the stairs. We heard the stomping of his feet on the stairs resonate throughout the house.
