Anabella turned eighteen and she could now control all of the elements. She was more accepted by her peers as they saw her kind heart and good will. She continued to help people in the forest, doing what they needed and protecting everyone in it as they went about their daily lives. Although she was already eighteen and now had marks, Anabella still had no wings and no one had much hope that she would ever get them, except for her father who continued to be her biggest support system through everything she did, who still continued to tell her every day that she was his angel - his little faerie girl – no matter how big she grew and how powerful she became.

Even though Anabella was more accepted as herself, and she had more friends, she was still not normal and still received insults from some of the people in the forest that just could not accept her for who she was. But, no longer were the insults the worse thing to come her way. No, now the worse things thrown at Anabella were the threats and the physical attacks she got from those jealous of her powers, from those that want her and her powers destroyed. Anabella seemed to pose a threat to people because of the amount of power and control she had, so in return people attempted to threaten her back.

Anabella took all of the threats and attacks in stride, responding to the threats with smiles and kind words and responding to the attacks by learning to fight and only using them to defend herself or others, never to harm someone else. She put up with all of these things, not letting her smile dampen, not letting her will or resolve weaken, and not allowing for the acts of hate to make her unkind or unjust or allow them to harden her heart.

She dealt with the hateful acts calmly and justly, never allowing them to get the better of her, until one day her best friend of ten years runs up to her, with her blonde hair flowing behind her in the light breeze and her blue eyes glistening in the sunlight as says the words that ruin Anabella. Her best friend comes running towards her and says, "Anabella come quickly, there has been an emergency. It's your dad."

Those words make Anabella take to the sky faster than anything else could as she flies to her home, searching for her dad. and when she gets there what she sees brings tears to her eyes.
