Jesse's mom Ashlee looked over at her son and Kaycee, a small smile forming on her lips. "I never thought you guys were going to start dating. I thought I was going to have to play matchmaker. Because neither you nor Kaycee were willing to admit how you felt." Jesse smiled. "Well mom, you didn't have to. Brooke did all the work for you. I was dreading her showing up, but I'm glad she did. Because now Kaycee and I are together." Lucas looked up from his phone. "I think you guys need a ship name." Kaycee looked puzzled. "A what?" "Ship name: A name that combines a couples two names. Usually the first letter of one name replaces the first letter of the other name." Lucas recited. Everyone turn to look at him. "What? he said, sounding defensive. "When Peyton and I were dating, she made me look it up!" "What was your ship name?" Jesse asked. "Leyton. But enough about me. I really think you two need a ship name." Jesse and Kaycee shared a look that said, "Do we really have to do this?" They knew it would make Lucas happy though, so they relented. "Okay. Someone needs to write down a list of possible ship names." Kaycee said. Ashlee jumped up. "I'll get my plot board and a dry erase marker." Lucas laughed. "See Hale, even mom agrees." Ashlee emerged from the den with the board and marker. "I think it's a cute idea. Now let's make a list." Possible Ship Names: K̶e̶s̶s̶e̶ J̶e̶s̶k̶a̶y̶ Jaycee "NOT Kesse!" Kaycee said. Everyone nodded their heads in agreement. Jeskay!" Lucas said. Jesse's mom nodded and added it to the list. She looked at Jesse and Kaycee. "Any suggestions you two?" Jesse looked thoughtful. "What about Jaycee?" "I like it!" Lucas said. "What about you Kay?" Kaycee nodded. "I like it too." "It's unanimous! Jaycee it is." Ashlee smiled. J
esse walked up behind Kaycee and put his arms around her. "Everything is perfect." Kaycee nodded her head in agreement. Lucas looked up at his two friends with a troubled expression. "I hate to burst your bubble, but we're about to have a problem." "What is it?" Kaycee questioned, walking over to where Lucas was standing. "Something tells me that Brooke isn't done trying to ruin your life." Lucas held out his phone, and Kaycee took it with shaking hands. What she saw made her face pale.

"How did you get the text?" Kaycee asked. "I have ways." Lucas replied mysteriously. "So what does this mean?" Kaycee wondered aloud. "It means that Hurricane Brooke isn't over. What we saw earlier today was only the beginning." Jesse said, reading over Kaycee's shoulder. "We need to be prepared for the worst." Kaycee turned to look at him. "And what happens if she does break us up? Jesse looked shocked that Kaycee would even entertain the idea of that happening. "Do you really think she will? "No. Kaycee replied, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "But what if she does?" "She won't. I won't let that happen. I almost lost you once and I won't lose you again. I promise." Jesse said. He was determined to make sure they stayed together. Kaycee was the best thing that ever happened to him, and there was nothing, or no one, that could interface with that.
