Thanksgiving

November 24th 2016-
Thanksgiving Day.
"Good morning baby." David whispered in my ear. I smiled and turned over to face him. "Hi" I replied softly.

"How you feeling?"

"Better. You?"

"Good now that you're feeling better. I worry about you Liza."

"I know babe. I love you for it too." With that being said, David pulled my shirt back so my taught midriff was showing. "Good morning to you too baby." He said giving my belly a kiss.

"We have some shopping to do today. Both of our parents are coming over for thanksgiving. What part do you want to do first?" I asked him

"Let's go grocery shopping. We can get a turkey and other food. Also are you okay with Gabbie, Zane, Heath, Dom, Alex, Jason, Nik and everyone else joining us for our dinner?"

"Yes. I'm sure the parents will be happy with it too." I answered getting up and getting dressed. First we went to the grocery store. Of course we filmed a video "Its the grocery store with David and Liza!!" David shouted. A little too loud because people stared.

"Hi guys. Today we are getting stuff for thanksgiving. We are having everybody over including our parents. It's also when we will tell them about our surprise."

I turned the camera around and continued to vlog as we went around the isles getting all the food and ingredients we needed to make this a thanksgiving to remember.

We ended up getting a lot of food as well as tons of other stuff like table settings, place mats and more.

As we got into the car, I started feeling dizzy. "Babe you okay?" David asked in a concerned tone of voice when he saw me gripping onto the dashboard.

"Yes just a little dizzy." I sighed leaning back.

"Here have some water. You're pregnant and walking on your feet way to much. Do you want to go home and rest for a little bit?"

"No I'll be fine. Let's just go to target. But I don't feel like filming there."

"Liza honey. I don't want you to feel like you have to film. Especially since your not feeling well. Plus now that the viewers know you're pregnant, they will understand."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes babe." He kissed my forehead and smiled at me. "Let's go". So we went to target, got everything we needed and left to go start setting up.

It took about two hours to go shopping and then go home and set up. As the time passed I got more nervous for my parents arrival. I tried to shake the feeling that something was going to happen but it wouldn't go away. "Hey David can you help me reach these?" I asked him reaching for the baskets.

He immediately rushed over. "Get down babe. I got it." Obeying I stepped down from the ladder and finished getting the stuff down below. Now it was almost 6:45pm but we finished preparing. Luckily people were coming at 7:15.

"You ready?" David asked me giving me a kiss.

"More than ever." I replied feeling more confident.

We got the plates and table settings all out and set them out so that we were ready. Luckily we finished making all the food except the turkey which would be done in half an hour.

Around 7:10, people started to arrive. First it was Zane and Gabbie. They arrived together bringing a platter of cookies. I took them and thanked them both as I put them in the kitchen. While Zane and David were talking, Gabbie followed me into the kitchen.

"Hey how's it going?" Gabbie asked me signaling to my stomach. Looking around as if there were a lot of people by us, I smiled.

   "It's good. We are announcing it to not only everybody else, but to our parents at dinner."

She opened her mouth to say something else but was interrupted by the doorbell. "I'll get it!" I called out so David knew.

I opened the door to greet Davids parents and family. "Liza! Good to see you!" His mother Diane greeted me. "David your parents are here!" I yelled out. Soon enough, he turned the corner and smiled when he saw his family at the door.

"Hi Mom, Hi Dad, and hi Sophia and James" he said greeting his parents and then his younger siblings. "Come on in." He offered stepping aside to let them in. Not long after they arrived, my parents came. "Hi mom! Hi Dad!" I greeted excitedly giving them each a hug.

They came inside and started chatting up the Dobrik parents. Little did they know they would both me grandparents soon.

After everyone arrived, we took our seats. The turkey was done and all the food was in front of us looking like a feast. "Thank you all for being here tonight, please join us in saying grace" I announced. Everyone bowed their heads and David began to talk.

"Dear Lord, we thank you for everything. For this wonderful food in front of us, all of our friends and family and everything else soon to come as well as opportunities in our future. Amen"

"Amen" everyone repeated in unison. So we began to eat. Everyone was laughing, talking and smiling as they passed around the food to their family or our friends. It was amazing how well everyone got along even though they didn't know each other. David and I both decided that we would let people eat before announcing our big news.

David stood up and clinked his glass gathering everyone's attention. I got up and took his hand. "So in honor of you guys all being here today we thought we would share something very big and exciting with you guys." David spoke.

Everyone was silent and eagerly awaiting what we would tell them. I looked and David and he nodded. We would share this together. "On three. One, two, three" he whispered to me.

"We're pregnant!" We shouted happily. Quickly I saw different looks of shock on everyone's face. What mattered most was our parents opinion. "Wow... we were not expecting this from the two of you, but we are thrilled!" My parents said still shocked. We turned to the Dobriks, where Davids mom was so happy she was choking up. "Us too. We are so happy for you two and your new life!" With that everybody clapped and cheered. It was a nice start to our new life.

I'm so sorry it took so long guys, but I felt that in honor of
LIZA AND DAVIDS 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!
I had to get this out.

I hope you all had a great holiday, I'm so happy for Liza and David. I really love them so much and want them to get married.
