Chapter [5]: Lunch Time Song

Peridot's POV:
She pulled away from the hug and walked to lunch with me. Score. Me and Lapis was definitely gonna be something next year or even in a few months. We continued walking together.

We found ourselves in front of the cafeteria. Basic stuff.
Chicken and some fried rice. Thank God I got money.
Lapis got what she wanted and I paid. Such gentleman. Everyone had a table that was usually owned by bullies or someone popular who always sits there.
We sit on a table I usually sit with Jade Topaz and Jet. It was so silent now. As if you could hear us. Everyone talked and talked but me and Lapis never said a word to each other.

"Thanks." I said to kill the silence.
"Than-." She got cut off by Topaz.
"Guys I got a new guitar! Wanna try Dot?" I nodded. I got the orange guitar and strum it slightly to see if it was in my song's tune.
"Hey Topz! Mind if I tune it?"
"Whatever Dot!" He said while sitting next to Lapis.
A few twists and turns on the knobs.
After a few adjustments Emerald,Jet,Jade,Sunstone and Moonstone came over to us nudged Lapis' arm and sat down while Lapis blushed. I swear this is gonna be the death of eleven year old me. I memorized this song since last year. So I remembered the chords. I'm such a lovable person. No wonder she likes me.
"Here goes just for lil Lapis~!" Everyone stopped eating and turned over to us.

"Hey." I started playing.
I waited a for people to look and started singing.

I finished.
Everyone clapped with honor as I stood up and bowed.
"Thank you thank you!" I thanked.
I look over Lapis' direction and see her face red. So cute. Thanks 5SOS
"Thank." Lapis thanked me.
Thanks for listening Lapis. Thanks no one would listen to my song in forever. Thanks for reminding me with your beautiful face.

to 5 Seconds Of Summer for the song and Lapis for being the girl I care about." I screamed no regrets.

Lapis' POV:
He did it. He said those words. The words that every girl dreamed of.
I couldn't notice my steaming face until I touched it.
"Hey Lapis. What's with your red face?" Wow a very 'easy' question to answer.
"It's because of you." I said.
"What about me?" He grinned. Really? I was about to answer but he told me with the gang here:
"You see your a beautiful girl. Beautiful everything. I wanted to say that i-" The freaking bell rings! I could just break that bell!
"Oh looks like it's class time." We had a different schedule today.
We both had the same subject but we had to got to different rooms in HELE. Ugh. I wanted to see his dreamy face and kiss it."Woah woah don't rush Lapis." I scolded myself.
Welp guess I'll know at the gym.
