Chapter [2]: A Memory

Peridot's POV:
We were walking to a fast food restaurant.
"Today was amazing!" I walked with Jet.
"Oh really? What happened?"
Jet asked me while leaning on my shoulder.
"I got assigned with Lapis to do the project remember?" I groaned sarcasticly.
"Oh right! How dumb am I?" She said too me.
"Your not that dumb Jet. Besides you're getting game with Emerald." I said while nudging her arm. I start to change the subject and say:
"Hey I'm hungry. Haven't eaten a bite since this morning."
"You poor thing! Come on I'll treat ya!" My mind went blank. Has she always been this kind? Pfft whatever.
"You know you don't have to do this." I stated.
"Come on! Let me treat you!" Her face started turning red. Hehe. She walked away and came back and turned to me and closer to my face.
"Ya sure?" I tried reasoning.
"Yeah!" Our noses touched. I felt my face turn red.
"Something about TREATING?" I heard Sunstone scream.
"Trick or Treat? Heh." Jade continued.

Jet was shocked with her eyes widen.
"I was gonna treat Peridot!" She said while looking at the ground. Heh
"Looks like we've just got to leave."
I tried getting Jet to treat all of us.
"I can't have you hungry Peridot. RIP wallet." She said defeated. She would do this just for me?

We started SPRINTING towards the fast food restaurant with Sunstone pushing Jet since she was just walking. Me and Jade were racing and of coarse I won. But I didn't boast that would make it worse.
I waited for Jet and open the door for her. Such gentleman! We walked in and got in a line. Me and Jet weren't really the kind of people to wait so Jet gave the money to Sunstone and Jade. Oh no.....
I sit down and realized someone looking at us in the line just a guy with green eyes like mine but darker.
Only seats for two were available. Jet's face was blocking the view of the guy and looked at me.
"So.... Umm what do you wanna do? After this?" She asked. While moving her head closer to mine.
"I don't know maybe make out with you?" My flirty side kicked in.
She blushed as she moved closer and closer.
"Looks like some fuel for my ships aye?" A guy said.
He said to us. We moved from each other and the guy kissed Jet on the lips.
I realized the guy was Emerald.
"Hey Emerald!" I greet.
"Sup Pdot!" He greeted back.
I could just Jet blushing red as ketchup in the corner of my eye.
"Thanks for stopping us kiss. My flirty side got the best of me." I said while scratching me hair.
"Heh no prob. As for you, Jet, you wanna go on a date?" I could just imagine Jet fangirling inside. LOL
"Umm should I leave you two?" I asked.
"Nahh. Besides I want you to see her red face." Thanks Emerald.
"Guys we are back!" Jade and Sunstone arrived along with Moonstone, Sunstone's handsome crush, he was a funny guy.
"Hey guys."
"Emerald yes! I love you!" Jet was very happy and hugged Emerald so tight."Love you too. So wanna text later?" Emerald asked. "Of coarse!" Jet felt very happy and started tearing up.

We sit down on tables for two since those were only available.

Jet and Emerald = Table 1
Sunstone and Moonstone = Table 2
Jade and Me = Table 3

We start to eat and eat and eat while killing Jet's wallet. Sorry Jet....

After. We all left. Jet nailed that!
I reached home and start to look through our class chat that the teacher launched a while ago.

Texting
Moonstone: {Guys! We should double date!}

Emerald: {K! Where ya takin us?}

Jet: {Somewhere awesome?}

Sunstone: {Yup. My new boyfriend know where.... A movie.}

Peridot: {Can I come?}

Emerald: {You have a date?}

Peridot: {I can bring Lapis this weekend.}

Moonstone: {Sold!}

Jade: {I'll just chill with Topaz there.}

Topaz: {Ok!}

Moonstone: {Quadruple date then!}

Sunstone: {Meet up after school in the gym. Sound good?}

Peridot: {Feels good!}

Great. Now I'll have to invite Lapis on the weekend. This will be weird and awkward.

Lapis' POV:
I plop on my bed with a depression pill in my hand. I swallow the pill and scrolled through my phone and saw the class chat.

Moonstone: {Guys! We should double date!}

Emerald: {K! Where ya takin us?}

Jet: {Somewhere awesome?}

Sunstone: {Yup. My new boyfriend know where.... A movie.}

Peridot: {Can I come?}

Emerald: {You have a date?}

Peridot: {I can bring Lapis this weekend.}

Moonstone: {Sold!}

Jade: {I'll just chill with Topaz there.}

Topaz: {Ok!}

Moonstone: {Quadruple date then!}

Sunstone: {Meet up after school in the gym. Sound good?}

Peridot: {Feels good!}

Peridot is taking me out? Is he sure? A while ago I saw him about to kiss Jet! Welp this is my chance to confess to him. Hope no one gets in the way.
Like before....

*Flashback Starts*
I saw Peridot and Amethyst kissing in the hallway. After a few months I felt depressed. Everyday I feel more depressed. I came to a physician and told him about the depression. He said I needed to take pills until I can cure it myself.
That bitch....
After a few months before graduation I heard that Peridot broke up with Amethyst and now I had a chance.
While walking to my locker I hid behind a wall to hear an argument.
"You've still got me!" Pearl told Amethyst.
"He's better than you! I can prove it!" Amethyst wouldn't stop.
"How can he be better than me when he just dumped you!" Pearl stated.
"You don't understand." Amethyst walked away with tears in her eyes.
