Chapter [4]: Someone Who Cares About You

Peridot's POV:
Why is she always getting herself hurt? I can't see her like this. I can't but I have to I care for her and that's what matters. I found myself outside the clinic and rush in. I sit outside waiting for her to come out. Her information can be said later I'm just worried that she might be hurt or something worse.
I just wait for her outside on a bench.....

I saw blue hair inside and she walked out. "Oh Lapis! Thank God I was so worried." I hugged her so tight.
"Oh Peridot... Thanks...." I could feel her smile. She rubbed my hair and pulled away from my hug.
How I still wonder. She had it still tied around her leg.

Lapis' POV:
How did I get myself in this clinic?
I woke up on a bed confused.
"Miss Lazuli?" I was called by the nurse.
"Yes?" I asked.
"You have been healed. Are you ready come out?" I wasn't sure.
"Um....give me a few minutes." I said
"Come out when your ready." The nurse said walking out of sight.
I moved my hand around on where the wound was.
"Ow." It slightly hurt.
In the corner of my eye a green handkerchief with blood on it.
"Is that my blood?" I mumbled.
"Yes it is your blood miss Lazuli." The nurse said.
"If you don't come out now then you'll be late for your 4th period." The nurse reminded me.
"Oh ok." I grab the hanky and tie it back on my wound since it felt nice.
I walk out seeing someone who cares about me..... Peridot.

"Oh Lapis! Thank God I was so worried." He hugged me so tight.
"Oh Peridot..... Thanks." That's all what I could get out.
"Hey Lapis was it?" I heard a familiar voice. It was a girl but her voice sounded like the boy I saved.... Siblings?
"Hey I'm Amber." She reached out to me.
"I shakes her hand and Peridot stood there introducing himself after me.
"Thanks for saving my cousin Ember." He's an exchange student and he'll probably be dead when he finds his way to my house.
"By the way I saw your books on the floor. Here." She handed me the books. I felt like I was important.

Boom! I had more friends. We found ourselves in front of me and Peridot's classroom we had our goodbyes and walked in. Oh no we missed History class. Shit.
Great CLVE class.....

"Where have you two been?" Our new CLVE teacher asked.
I stayed quiet heading to my chair.
"Miss Lazu-" She got cut off.
"It was a long story teacher so please scold me... Not her."
I felt so safe when he said those words.
"Oh I'm sorry." I saw her worried face I can tell that she saw my wound.
"Class?" The teacher asked sitting down.
"Have you ever felt safe?" The teacher said as I sat on my seat. The class answered by nodding a yes."Class I mean special safe and not the safe from your best friends from your family. From that someone who always cares about you?" My classmates looked at each other."I felt that way too before but now it's gone...." The teacher said having tears in her eyes. Some of my classmates comforted her.
Peridot sat down and had a warm smile on his dreamy face all I could do was stare at him. I felt so guilty for all his pain yet he blames himself? For my mistakes? How can he be so so so nice?
We stared at each other giving each other warm smiles and a few blushes.
The class ended. I was sad that the class had to end. Since I liked the way the teacher talked to us young teens. I heard in her voice that she knew everything.
"Earth to Lapis." Peridot's hand waving in front of my face. He snapped me back into reality. I stood up from my chair to head out for lunch.....great no money.
"You want to have lunch together my treat."
"Yeah. That would be nice!" I hugged him.
I started tearing up.

Peridot's POV:
Lapis accepted lunch with me. Thanks. After that she gave me the biggest hug that no one has ever given me before. It felt nice. No one would ever do it to me. Thank you Lapis.
I felt tears on my shoulder.
"There there don't worry I'm here." I said those words to comfort my Lapis. I felt like I was supposed to do that it worked. She stopped crying. What a long day.
