Rachel POV

I saw my ex Jacob at BW3'S last night with some girl, and I don't appreciate that. I mean yea I did him bogus but I never said we were done. Watch me get him back, and get rid of that girl too.

Jacob POV

"Jacob, you have to stop or you gone get me in trouble" Faith said "I'm spending time with my baby" I said tickling her "Alright, you can do that just stop tickling me" she said trying to grab my hands "Okay I'll stop, what do you need help with so we can get you out of here faster?" I asked "Please don't tell me that you are trying to help me do something you don't know how to do" she said "Well, you can give me something simple to do, or teach me the hard stuff" I said "Okay, you asked for it" she said handing me a huge pile of envelopes "What's this" I asked "I need you to sort those by last name alphabetically" I looked at the envelopes and started to sort them and finished in an hour. "Did you have fun?" She said laughing "You aint right for that" I said "You asked to help" she said "You gone pay for that one day" I said she laughed "Somebody's tired" I looked at her "I'm hungry, let's go eat" she laughed at me "Alright, I want Chinese" she said we started walking towards Wong's Wok and I saw my ex Rachel.

Faith POV

Me and Jacob were walking to Wong's Wok any I noticed he tensed up "Baby, are you okay?" I asked "Can we cross the street, my ex is right there and I don't want any drama" he said "Yea, come in" I never asked him about his ex, but by the look on his face he didn't look like he wanted to talk about her so I shut up about it for now.

Rachel POV

I know he didn't just walk across the street on me "Hey J-baby" I said being the petty chick that I am, he ignored me "See you tonight" I said to make his girlfriend jealous, he looked up at me then came across the street and his girlfriend walked off.

Jacob POV

She really thinks that I was coming back to her, but I was going over there to remind her how she played me and that there was nothing between us.

Faith POV

All I remember is that girl saying "See you tonight" and Jacob going across the street to her, that was my cue to leave. Tears filled my eyes as I walked the rest of the way to Wong's Wok for my shrimp fried rice. I went back to the office clocked out and drove home, Jacob better not expect a text, call, or any appearance from me I was furious.

Jacob POV

I turned around and Faith was gone, I should've told Faith what I was going across the street for, but I was too stupid to tell her. I sped to Faith's house and started knocking on her door "Faith baby come open the door it's me" I said "Go away, why don't you go back to your ex and beg her to open the door" she said, those words pierced my heart "Faith, let me in so I can explain" I said, I couldn't lose her, we literally just getting back on good terms. "You got five minutes to explain and it better be reasonable" she said "Open the door so I can see your face" I said "No, explain from outside, you did yo dirt outside you can explain from outside" she said "At least open the door so you can slap me if I sound stupid" I said, she opened the door but only cracked it so I couldn't see her face "I only crossed the street to let her know that there is nothing between me and her" I said Faith looked up at me "You promise" she said "Yes baby, I promise" she slapped me."That's for being stupid and not telling me" then she pulled me in for a kiss "And that's for being honest" she said "Are you going to let me in, it's cold out here and it's making me cold, but I feel the heat coming from insid- fuck it, are you gone let a brother in?" I asked she laughed "Yes, you can come in" she said opening the door letting me walk in.

Faith POV

I couldn't believe he was in my house. "Do you want anything to drink?" I asked him "Just some water" he said "Alright" I brought him a glass of water "Thanks" he said when he was finished "No problem" I said "Well it's cold outside and I don't want to go home right now" he said "That's so personal" I said laughing "Wanna cuddle and watch movies?" He said "sure" I smiled, I layed in his chest and I felt so safe while he was holding me. We watched Two Can Play That Game, 35 and ticking, and Think Like A Man. The night was fantastic and I felt so safe while I was laying in his arms. He was a gentleman and he didn't even mention having sex, he just simply came to cuddle and watch movies. When he left I felt so sad, I loved the fact that he respected me and didn't try to force himself on me, and my goodness did he smell good. His scent made me melt, but his presence had me feeling so safe like nobody could hurt me. Maybe he is worth a try after all.
