Jacob POV

It was Christmas, Faith and I were at my parents house and they let Faith invite Tyler over, my aunt Kim was there to meet Faith. "So this is my boss and best friend Tyler, she basically is the only family that I have right now" Faith said. Everyone greeted herr with a smile "Well, it's time for presents" my father said, everyone exchanged gifts then I waited for them to finish. "Faith this is for you" I said pulling out a small box, she opened up the box and her jaw dropped "Jacob what is this" she said "It's a 14 carat diamond necklace with a ruby in the center and it's a symbol of loyalty" I said "This is so beautiful thanks J" she said "Yea, but when you wear it, you make it look even better" I said.

Tyler POV

Jacob bought Faith a necklace, now she really won't shut up, he is very sweet and it's about time she got herself a good man that loves her. I really do feel happy for Faith because all the men she dated ended up with Cherish. "Awwwwe how sweet is that, now she really gone be blushing" I said everyone laughed when everyone was finished exchanging gifts Jacob pulled me to the side. "I need a few favors from you, I plan on proposing to Faith on New Years so convince her to have a party, and come with me to pick out a ring for her." He said "Well it's about time you grew some balls" I said laughing "I'm serious, you got me?" He said "Yea I got you, but we gotta get ahold of her brother, they kinda split apart, and this is going to be hard to hold in" I said "Pray and ask God to help you hold your water, and I never I knew that" he said "Well now you know, and you ain't funny" I said "Will you just do it?" he said "Yes, just know that I'm kicking your ass after you propose just because you took forever" we laughed and went to sit back.

Faith POV

"Jacob, you're so sweet" I said as he was driving me home "Oh it was nothing really" he said "You know, sometimes I feel like you were sent here to watch over me or something" I said "Faith I have a serious question" he said "I might have an answer" I said "What's the story of you and your family?" he asked "What do you mean?" I said "You said that Tyler was basically your only family, so what happened?" he said "My mom died when she gave birth to me, my dad kicked me out when I was sixteen but he let my older brother stay with him, so I moved in with my aunt Patrice and she basically taught me everything I needed to know about how to be a lady then I moved with my grandma" I said "So where does Tyler come in, and what happened to your aunt?" he asked me "My aunt passed away, then my grandma did and Tyler's mother took me in and I lost contact with my brother" I said crying "Dang that's deep" he said "Can you turn on the radio, we can listen to your favorite station this time" I said "Sure" he said. He turned on jammin 98.3 "You should know baby you're my angel, nothing's gonna make you fall from heaven, girl I just wanna love you, loooove you, don't listen to what people say, they don't know about bout you and me pjt it out your kind cause it's jealousy they don't know about this thing" I began to sing along and I heard Jacob laughing "What is so funny?" I asked "You are in your own little world aren't you, and what do you know about this?" He asked "I love this song" I said "I like old school music too" he said smiling. He dropped me off at home I took a shower and then went to sleep.

Jacob POV

I never knew about Faith's family but when she told me about it, I wished I wouldn't have asked. It was funny that "They don't know" by Jon B came on because Faith was my angel and whoever hates on our relationship is jealous. As I was driving home I started to think of what I would say to Faith before I popped the question, she was special to me and I was glad to have her in my life. I was laying down I called Faith but she didn't answer "Hey this Faith, I'm not able to answer the phone right now, leave a message at the beep and stay sweet" I was salty when it first came on "Hey baby, I was just calling to say goodnight and I love you, enjoy your sleep" I left that message and went to sleep.
