Faith POV

I was sitting on the floor of the dark cold room wondering if what the guy said about Jacob was true or not. Not only was I thinking about that, I was also thinking if I was going to die or if I would make it out. "What difference does it make?" I started saying to myself "I'm not worth anything to anyone there is no point of me being alive" BANG BANG BANG I layed flat on the ground and waited for the shots to stop being fired, but all I heard was more and more gunshots BANG BANG, the gunshots stopped. I was tied down so I couldn't really move, "WHERE IS SHE?" I heard Jacob say "Bring him over here and go get the girl too, she might want to see this," suddenly there were footsteps coming towards me. The door opened and it was one of the guys I saw from downstairs, "Just so you know, I'm here to help you get out of here, but I need you to act along with me for a minute, now when I wink at you I need you to duck alright!" He said to me, "Okay fine, whatever it takes to get me out of here" he roughly brought me downstairs "Hey there, I thought you would like to see this, any last words you have for each other?" The man said bringing the gun to his side, if only  I was able to know what Jacob was thinking, I could see the worry, anger, and relief all at one time and I didn't know what to say.

Jacob POV

I was looking at Faith, she had a few bruises on her and I didn't like to see her in that type of condition. I was worried of what the did to her, angry because I seen the bruises, and relieved to know and see that she was still alive. I didn't want to tell Faith about my past because I don't want her to see me as that guy , and I'm not proud of my past. "Trey why you doing this, she aint the one you want it's me this between me and you" I said to him "As a matter of fact it is between me and you, remember how you left the family, aka my organization?" He said "Yes I do, and it was for a good reason, I don't plan on dying in these streets, I have too much to live for" I said "Oh save it, I've had enough of this, why didn't you tell your little broad over there about your past?" He asked I noticed that the dude standing next to Faith winked at her and she pretended to tie her shoe. The man standing behind Trey pulled out a gun and shot Trey in the back of his head. "Stay down" he said, next thing I knew I heard a bunch of gunshots I fired and hit my targets. "Good looking out bro, you was brave for that" "No problem, I was getting tired of his bull and he has a big mouth." I untied Faith and she slapped me, then ran off. I looked at the dude and he shrugged. I couldn't let her leave me, not like this. It started to rain so I ran after her in the rain calling out for her but I couldn't see where she went so I started texting her.

Faith POV

The moment he untied me, I had to slap him and run, yeah it was raining outside but so what. I knew that I was better off without him I could have been killed messing around with him. I ran back and said "Thanks for saving me but I need to be alone from now on, goodbye Jacob!" I started crying, it was raining so hard and all I could do was just run. When I got home and Jacob kept calling my phone I had multiple text messages from him

Jacob: can we talk?

Jacob: please don't ignore me

Jacob: let me explain

Me: no Jacob, there is nothing to explain anymore,I don't see why you didn't just tell me, you kept it from me, I don't know who you are anymore.

Jacob: alright fine, be safe.

I was extremely tired and I needed to get some sleep.

Jacob POV

She might think I won't come get her, but I am most definitely going to get her back, I love her too much to lose her. I'm going to contact her boss and do whatever I can just to win her back, I can't lose her she means to much to me I will get her back I know I will and when I do I will tell her everything.
