"No....you're kidding right?!"
Mrs.Probst's smile grew.
"Nope! They phoned me, so then I phoned your mom, then we came and picked you up!"
This was too much to process.
"But, when you were at the school you looked so sad..."
Mrs.Probst laughed.
"I did that for dramatic effect!"
You've got to be kidding me right now...

Darkness filled my body. I felt pinned down into the ground. I couldn't speak, as nothing would come out.
Why was this happening?
I couldn't move or see anything, but I could hear everything.
Well not everything, it's not like I have superpowers...
Or do I?
Just then I burst out of the hospital, more like I flew out of the hospital.
Just kidding, that didn't happen. If you actually believed that...I'm sorry....but I don't have superpowers...
I miss Rose...
She visits me everyday, but I can't respond...
It breaks my heart whenever she asks me questions, because in my mind, I can speak, but whenever I try, nothing comes out...
She'll say things like 'I miss you..'.
I try to say 'I can hear you! I'm still alive!' but nothing comes out.
Sometimes she'll cry on my lap...I try hugging her, but I can't move...
She'll say things like 'Come back...I need you...please don't be dead...'.
I want to tell her 'I'm right here, I'm not dead!' but I can't...
Today it was different though...
The doctors had come in like usual, but it was different...
They did the regular procedure. Opened my eyelid, shined a bright light, wait....what?
Why can I see the light?

The doctors gasped. I heard one of them fumble their clipboard. Another one hit what seemed to be the panic button.
I heard people scurry into the room.
"Is it true?"
One of them said.
Is what true?!
"Can you hear us Jason?"
I tried speaking but nothing came out.
"Jason?"
I slowly nodded my head.
Obviously they saw it, because one of them started started to cheer.
What the fuck?..
It's not my birthday so why are they fucking cheering?
"Quickly, call his family."
