Camping Trip

Today was the day! I had been waiting so long for this! I was going Camping with Tom! But not only just him; but his whole family! I couldn't wait to meet them! Tom had said he had planned the whole trip already with lots of activities! I had all my clothes packed and i am just waiting for them to pull into the driveway now. I get a text after 5 minuets of waiting. It was Tom.

"Be there in 10!" He texted.

"Can't wait!" I replied back.

Ten minuets later they pulled into my driveway and i rushed out the door to greet them. Tom's parents stepped out of the car to greet me and gave me a hug.

"I'm Nikki and this is my husband Dominic." She said after giving me a big hug. I smiled at Dominic and shook his hand. 

"I've heard nothing but great things about you. It's nice to finally meet you." He said. Nikki gestured for me to get in the car and meet the rest of the clan. I got in and saw Tom in the seat right next to me. 

"Tom!" My eyes widened with excitement and i gave him a big huge. 

"Hey beautiful." He said with a warm smile. I looked behind me in the back seat and saw 3 other boys sitting there. One of the older looking ones smiled at me and put out his hand.

"Hey, I'm Harry!" 

"Hey! I said shaking his hand. Then the other older one said hi to me.

"Hey, I'm Sam! Harry's twin."

"You guys are twins!? That's awesome! I thought you guys looked alike." I laughed. I saw the one in the middle seat and he was much smaller and looked so young. He had freckles all over his face and wavy reddish-brown hair. His eyes brightened as he saw me smiling at him and introduced himself to me. 

"My name is Patrick. You can call me Paddy." He said proudly. 

"Nice to meet you." I giggled. I then turned back the other way and looked at Tom with a reassuring smile. 

"Are we ready?" Dominic asked.

"Ready!" We all said. He laughed and started up the car and headed onto the interstate to get to the national park camping site.

We finally got there and parked. I hopped out of the car and we all began getting stuff out of the car (as much as we could carry) and brought it over to our campsite. I saw a HUGE lake behind our campsite and smiled at its beauty. Tom stopped next to me and stared at it too.

"Its so calm. Isn't it?"

"Yeah." I say. Harry, Sam, and Paddy came up to us too and gasped.

"Dude! That thing is huge!" Sam said.

"We should go swimming!!!!" Paddy yelled excitedly.

"Paddy are you insane? It's cold out here!" Harry said.

"Yeah but-" Paddy whimpered.

"We didn't even bring our swimsuits, Paddy." Sam said.

"Aw, but...when i see a lake I gotta swim in it!"

"Paddy, we don't want you to get sick or something." I said kneeling down next to him.

"Alright, fine." He said, then ran off to help his mum and dad with unpacking. Harry and Sam went down to the Lake and got some stones to skip in the water. Turns out-they were pretty good at it too. A cold breeze brushed against me and i shivered and crossed my arms. Tom noticed i was cold and put his arm around me and rubbed my arm.
