Chapter 7: chest of emotions

I take my had off the note and slide to the ground. I was stuck in a prison world all by myself. Maybe i deserved it, maybe I didn't. The only thing I could think about was escaping. 

I close my eyes and wonder off into space. 

Meanwhile in Mystical Falls Bonnie was still with Kai. 

"Look bon bon, you can just do some magical ju ju and get Malia back." Damon demands Bonnie with and annoyed look on his face.

"Damon, I would if I had the ascendant." she explains. Everyone all stared into the air. 

"Kai has it doesn't he?" Stefan asked already knowing the answer. 

Bonnie nods her head slowly and then her smile turned into a frown. 

"Well can't you do a location spell on the ascendant?" Damon questions.

"I'll try but my magic hasn't fully returned yet, i might not be strong enough." Bonnie points out.

2 Months Later. 

I walk back to the Salvatore house wondering if someone had joined me in this hell hole but as usual, it was only me. Today was my the anniversary. The anniversary of when I killed my family. In memory, I had decided to throw a party but of course It will be only me to attend. grabbing the sugar from under the cabinet, I turn on some music. Most of it I had never heard of before.I wasn't surprised though, I mean I am in 1903. I start to make the dough for the cookies. I mumble all the ingredients as I plop them into the bowl. Suddenly I hear something coming from one of the upstairs bedrooms. I walk up the wooden stairs, hoping that It was only my imagination. 

"Hello?" I say hoping that nothing would answer back.

I mean i'm all open to someone else being here but not if they're gonna scare me. 

I open the door and it made a creaking sound. My eyes go blue showing that I wasn't afraid. 

There was nothing there. The loneliness was making me go mad. 

I go back downstairs to finish off the cookies but when I get there, the dough was nowhere to be seen. 

"Ok... well this defiantly isn't annoying. Whoever you are come out!" 

"Hello Malia."

I look behind me and it was impossible. 

"Mum?" I ask. 

How? This can't be real. 

"You killed me Malia." She scoffs.

"I- I didn't mean to... I lost control." 

"And your sister." she carries on.

"No I..." 

I start to cry. This wasn't happening. I'm going mad... I've already been to Eichen House and I'm not going back to another Mental home.

"This isn't real!" I yell at the top of my lungs. 

Just then my mum disappeared and the Desert Wolf (my biological mum) showed.

"Your right Malia, but this is." She threatens. 

She picks up a knife from the counter and throws it at me. Luckily I miss it and gasp in shock. 

It was now time to stop being sad and weak. This woman was very strong and powerful. They're was no point in trying to get her to have mercy on me. I took some of her power ans she'll now do anything to get it back; even kill her own daughter. 

She growls at me and charges to me. 

I didn't know how this was happening but all I knew was that I could die so best now if I move.

I show my claws and smile.

"I'm stronger than the last time you saw me." I brag. 

She pulls out a gun and shoots me in the leg. 

I gasp for air, yelling in pain. The desert Wolf laughs. She's about 10 centimeters away from me and picks up the knife from earlier trying to dig it into my chest. My heart was racing.

"I want my power back!" She screams. 

"Well... I want my family back!" I yell even louder. 

Pushing her off me, I get her gun and shoot her in the shoulder. 

"It's been nice knowing you." I say while pushing the knife into her heart.

Her face becomes pale as she takes her last few breaths. 

Back in Mystical Falls

"Stefan!" Bonnie calls over.

He walks up to her wondering what she wanted. He nods.

"I know here the ascendant is-" She says while a small smile appears on her face.

"It's in the house but it's not an object anymore... It's well a person."

He raises an eyebrow.

"Who?" 

Suddenly Kai barges into the room and puts his hand on the great piano. 

"That would be me. See now that I'm the most powerful witch to ever be alive, I made the ascendant into me so that I am in control of my old prison 'cell'. So far Malia has been very strong."

Damon walks into the room and pushes Kai against the wall.

"Let her out!" He shouts.

"Look, this is just an experiment... find out where Caroline and Tyler are and then I'll let her out." He warns. 

He knocks into Damon's shoulder as he walks out.
