Chapter 37

Dan's P.O.V.
I woke up and rub my eyes briefly. Once my vision became steady, I realized I wasn't home.
"What the fu- oh god OW" I yelped when I sat up on my bum.
"Why am I so sore- oh right..."
"I turned to my left and realized I was next to Phil, he was starting to shift and his eyes began to flutter open.
"mm-Dan?"
He rubbed his eyes and squinted at the light coming through the curtains
I couldn't resist and I just had to kiss him. I leaned in and our lips met. Love, passion, and want was there.
We pulled away and stared into eachothers eyes. God, I missed those sky blue eyes... He smiled at me with such an innocent look and gave me a quick peck.
"Goodmorning to you too, sunshine." he giggled sitting up. He patted his chest, gesturing me to lay my head on him. We cuddled for a little more than half an hour, just talking about how we were and how the previous week was for both of us.
We came to a conclusion that we both were a wreck and shouldn't ever split again.
We lay there for an hour or so, cuddling and not saying a word. It was a comfortable silence before he got up
He kissed the top of my head before saying, "I should probably tell Chris and Peej.."
"And I should probably tell Marzia..."

Once we informed both of our friends we met up at the living room
We stood face to face and just stared at each other before saying,
"Did it go well?" at the same time
We giggled before I said "Well mine did, I don't know about you..."
"It was fine, they're relieved, actually." he smiled giving me a hug.
"I'm glad they approve"
"Me too"

Everything went back to normal. I moved back into the office, I moved in with him, I put my old house up for rent, and everything just seemed fine. But...
That's when I saw him again, Luke...
