𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 1: 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚.

Morning arrives in the hospital, Yuven slowly opens his eyes.
Yuven: "Where am I?"
He notices a young woman sleeping across from him, but pretty soon she awakens. She stands up and stood right beside him.
???: "Oh thank goodness you're okay."
Tears started flowing down her eyes as she hugged Yuven.
Yuven: "Who... are you?"
Then from out of nowhere the door to his room opened.
???: "Oh doctor, thank goodness you're here."
Doctor: "Ah Yuven, I am so glad that you have awakened."
???: "Doctor, there's something wrong with him. He doesn't remember who I am."
Doctor: "I see. Yuven, do you remember anything at all?"
Yuven shakes his head 'no'.
Doctor: "I see. Miss Tatsuya, may I speak with you for a moment?"
???: "Sure."
They both left his room and spoke outside his door.
???: "What is it doctor?"
Doctor: "Miss Tatsuya, it appears that your nephew has amnesia."
???: "Amnesia! Can you do something about it?"
Doctor: "I'm sorry, but it's only a condition. Who, what, or when he remembers will take time."
???: "That's a relief."
Doctor: "However..."
???: "However?"
Doctor: "I strongly recommend that you do not tell him about his actions at Duel Academy."
???: "I don't understand, why?"
Doctor: "Do you want him to feel guilty for what he has done?"
Suddenly the aunt recalls what he meant.
???: "I understand, I won't tell him about it."
Doctor: "Excellent."
They re-entered his room and approached him once more.
Yuven: "So what happened?"
Doctor: "Yuven it appears that you have amnesia."
Yuven: "Amnesia, then it's no wonder why I can't remember anything."
Doctor: "Correct, but don't worry about it. Whatever it is you forgot I'm sure you'll remember in no time."
Yuven: "That's good to know."
Seiko: "Yuven, since you can't remember who I am let me reintroduce myself. I'm Seiko Tatsuya, your aunt."
Yuven: "Seiko Tatsuya, got it."
Doctor: "Now then, let me just do one final check up on you and if you're clear then you'll discharged."
Yuven complied with him and got into position for the check up.

Doctor: "Alright Yuven you're in perfect condition to be discharged from the hospital."
Seiko: "I brought you some clothes to change into."
Yuven: "Thank you."
He got out of bed and proceeded to the bathroom to change. There he changed and straped on his shoes, then he placed his deck in his shirt pocket. Now he's all prepped and ready to leave.

They leave the hospital and head back to Prism City. While Seiko was driving, she couldn't help but notice that Yuven was looking at his cards. This made her feel concerned.
Flashback:
Kate: "...And that concludes our weather for today. In other news destruction at Duel Academy occurred today during what was suppose to be their Graduation Duel. Several eyewitness reports say that Obelisk Blue student Yuven Tatsuya went on an unstoppable rampage after his Duel. We now go live to Fin Houston at the scene of the event, Fin."
Fin: "Thanks Kate and as you can see I am standing right outside the arena. There is rubble and debris inside, the ceiling is destroyed, it's just an unbelievable site."
Student: "I've known Yuven since the day he became one of us. He was an honest, determined, and very friendly person. But I never expected his bad side to be so destructive."
Chancellor: "As the chancellor of this academy we do not tolerate such violent behavior from any of our students. Yuven Tatsuya is no acception."
Fin: "Although every student and staff witnessing that Duel escaped with minimal injuries, one Duelist was escorted to the hospital. As for Yuven himself he'll also be taken to the hospital after suffering a serious head injury. The chancellor has also stated that he will not be graduating from here and will be expelled with his Duel Disk confiscated..."
Before Fin could finish his sentence, Seiko turned the TV off. Then she rushed out of the house and headed straight for the hospital that housed Yuven.
Present:
They've returned to Prism City and arrived at their house.
Yuven: "So this is where I live?"
Seiko: "Yes, this is your home."
She opened the door and showed him inside. From there he decided to look around to become more familiar with the place. That's when he found his room, so he went ahead and laid on his bed for a while.

It's been two hours since his nap, and it's already afternoon. Yuven got out of bed to look for his aunt, unfortunately she was nowhere to be found. Then he discovers a note written from her.
"I have some business to take care of at Heartland, so I won't be back for a few weeks. If you get hungry I have everything you need stocked. Whatever dish you need help making is included in this note. Take care of yourself."
Love: Seiko Tatsuya.
P.S. "I was saving a gift for you after you graduated, you'll find it in your room."
Seeing this left him curious, so he headed back to his room to see this gift. It didn't take him long to notice the present on his desk. He ripped the wrapping paper off and opened the box, within it was a Duel Disk.
Yuven: "What is this?"
Looking at it helped him remember what it is.
Yuven: "Oh yeah, it's a Duel Disk. Thanks aunt."
It had a USB slot, so he connected it with his computer. Then a window popped up asking for his name. He types it in and it shows his information and Dueling record.
Yuven: "Whoa, most of my duels happened at Duel Academy. Wait a second, Duel... Academy."
Suddenly that name gave him a headache, as well as visions of his time at the academy. They stopped afterwards, but this left him wondering.
Yuven: "What was that? Was that me, at Duel Academy?"
He thought about what just happened, until he realized those were his memories, at least a portion of them. Before he shut off his computer, it asked "Register this Duel Disk?" He accepted and his Disk activated for a brief moment before it shut down. Once he finished he turned off his computer and detached the cable. Then he puts his Duel Disk away and gets up to venture Prism City for answers.

While walking around the city, people started looking at him, and not in a good way. Yuven was curious as to why everybody was looking at him. That's when he heard some of them yell at him.
"They should throw you in jail."
Yuven: "Huh?"
"You don't deserve to walk these streets, not after what you did."
"Yeah what he said."
Yuven: "I don't understand, what do you mean?"
"Get away from us!"
Yuven gets pushed back by a civilian and refused to answer his question. So he went on ahead and left them alone.
Yuven: "What was that about?"
Then he started thinking about what that one person said.
Yuven: "What did he mean by what I did?"
Before he could figure out what to do next, someone approached him.
???: "So you don't remember what happened do you?"
Yuven: "Who are you? And what does that mean?"
???: "My assumption is correct, you really don't remember. In that case why don't we discuss this somewhere else."
Even though Yuven doesn't know this guy, it looked like he had information regarding to him. So he went with him to wherever it is he desired.
