Chapter 38: Reasons Behind

Halos makalimutan na yata naming huminga ni Euna sa laban ng dalawa. Bilangan ba ng sugat o hiwa ng espada ang match na ito? 

Baka mamya mamatay ang dalawang ito dahil sa pagkaubos ng dugo mula sa mga sugat nila. 

Wala man lang ako magawa kung hindi ang panuorin nalang si Daichi na lumalaban hanggang kamatayan. Kapag natalo siya, iikot lang uli ang situation, tulad ng sabi ni Shori matatalo din ulit kami. 

Ilang beses na kaya siyang nakabalik sa nakaraan?

"Finish him Shori!" sigaw ni Hayfril. "bakit ba ang tagal mo siyang tapusin ngayon? eh last time pagkasugod mo palang sa kanya natalo mo na siya" 

"Shut up Hayfril, don't forget that you change your strategy too... why did you use poison to defeat AJ this time?" tanong ni Shori habang pareho lang nagpapahinga ang dalawang magkalaban.

"I just want to make sure na makukuha natin ang katawan niya this time" sagot naman ni Hayfril.

"but you know that there will be a great impact that will change the results of the presents" sagot ni Shori. 

Bigla nalang natawa si Daichi. 

"nababaliw na yata siya?" tanong ni Hayfril.

"Seriously? how stupid you are... both of  you" tawa nanaman ni Daichi.

"And why is that?" tanong ni Shori. 

"why are you telling all of these information in front of us?" tanong ni Daichi. 

"It doesn't matter, even you will know something about us, the result will be the same. Because we already controlled the portal, even if you will kill me! I will revive over and over again" sagot ni Shori. 

Ibinaba muna ni Daichi ang katana nito.

"Why don't you tell me? how did you know about the portal? or how did you even pass to be a successor of my grandmother and Eve's grandpa?" Tanong ni Daichi.

Oo nga? pano nga ba?

Ibinaba din ni Shori ang weapon nito.

"I admit, at first it was only an accident, I live before in US, my first dad was a military. He was assigned in Area 51, a secret military base, I guess you are familiar with that too right Ms. Eve?" sabay titig nito sakin. "In fact you were the one who explained that to me, with other Japanese staff in your previous life right? and you were also the reason why I confirmed that this place which is Clark is the perfect place where the portal is located" explained nito.

Naalala ko ang mga panahong nagkwento nga ako sa nakaraan about sa portal. 

"I had a chance to use the portal back in Area 51 before the government of US destroyed it then here in Clark I took that chance to go back in time where your grandma and grandpa is researching and experimenting too. And I'm not the only one who became interested to this portal, even Hayfril... I met her in Japan, where she found a portal in a suicide forest that's popular in our country. She traveled many times  compared to me, she shared her knowledge about the portal" mahabang paliwanag ni Shori. 

  "Then why do you need to change the world?" tanong ni Daichi.   

"Marami akong natutunan sa pagklalakbay ko sa pamamagitan ng portal, pero may madilim na kahihitnan ang mundo, dahil sa mga tao, nawawasak ang kalikasan at walang katapusang kaguluhan at kataksilan" seryosong sabi ni Hayfril. "kahit paulit ulit akong bumabalik sa nakaraan, nananatili akong mag-isa, iniiwan... lahat ng mga nakakasama ko, nasasawi o mga taksil!" gigil nito. 

"baka yun talaga ang kapalaran mo?" tanong ko.

"Siguro nga" sagot naman nito, "pero sa kapangyarihan kong makapaglakbay sa nakaraan at hinaharap, sa tingin mo ba hindi ako gagawa ng paraan para mabago ito?" mataray nitong sagot sakin.
