"MOLLYKE HURRY UP! WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!" Tanya called from the other room. I was currently in the bathroom, showering before our 12 hour flight to LAX.

"Yeah yeah. I will be out in a second. Can you pack my carry bag? I have everything else done." I called out to her, getting out and wrapping a towel around me. I stuck my head out and Tanya didn't look very happy.

"Mol, come on. You really wanted to go to America, remember Connor? Actually meeting the guy." Tanya explained. "Tan I know. Can you please just pack my carry bag? He will be picking us up when we get there." Tanya nodded, walking away from the door sullenly. She hated when I left packing until the last minute. Not my fault I am a procrastinator. Okay maybe it's entirely my fault, but I don't try to annoy anyone.

I pulled on trackies and my flight socks before pulling on my ugg boots, adding on a comfy shirt and holding my sweater if it got cold. I pulled my hair up into a messy ponytail and collected all of the toiletries, free from the hotel and my own, and carried them out, seeing the open bag on my bed. It was filled with all the essentials I needed to have a comfortable flight.

"Thank you Tan, We can go!" I put everything in my arms in the carry on bag, shutting it closed. I placed it on my shoulder, pulling my sunglasses on. I looked around the room, seeing no Tanya or Jas. There was a note where my bag was.

"We'll be downstairs when you get out, hurry on down, we will wait." I scrunched the note up, pulling my heavy suitcase before scanning the room, making sure we didn't forget anything. I felt for my phone in the front pocket of the carry on, thanking Tanya again in my head.

I quickly made my way down to the lobby, running through it seeing the taxi. I threw my card at the administrations desk before scurrying outside. The taxi driver got out and put my suitcase and carry on in the boot. I slid in and the taxi driver rushed out.

Tanya and Jas laughed at me, knowing that I never run, so this was a classic. I giggled next to them nodding my head. "Yes, yes I know I look like a flailing duck while running, don't need to broadcast it." That made laugh harder, and the taxi driver chuckled at the front.

We pulled up at the airport in record time, making sure we had everything and paid the driver we rushed inside, heading to our gate. We had about 15 minutes until they started to call for our flight, so we breathed a sigh of relief before still walking quickly to check us in.

We had our bags weighed and we stood around impatiently before getting the clear and sprinting to our terminal.

"Flight 432 to LAX please board now." The speaker said harshly. We had just gotten to the terminal and high-fived each other, totally relieved we had made it. Sure we just had the exercise of the year, but we made it.

We boarded, getting to the boring stage, waiting until the plane actually left. We found our seats, near the middle of the plane on the sides. "I SHOTGUN THE WINDOW!" I called out, making everyone on the plane look at me and the girls shake their head in embarrassed laughter. "Okay, okay, we know you always sit at the window." Tanya said, moving so I could slide passed her.

I sunk into the seat next to the window with a weirdly satistfied grin. "You are so weird." Jas said as she slid into the seat next to me. I smiled broadly at her before settling myself with my iPod in and playing music, and my book out.

I got the book out and was instantly immersed, not paying attention to anyone at all. I saw a flash out of the corner of my eye and shrugged it off, thinking it was just Tanya and Jas taking a selfie. I saw another flash and looked up at Jas, who looked very guilty. I shot her a glare, warning her not to put it online, before going back to the book.
