Chapter 2: All white

I gasped, I woke up in a different place. I felt like I died and lived again. Wait a minute, is this heaven?! I looked around, it was all white, the room was completely empty, it had a bed in the middle of the room which I was laying on.

It was hard and metallic and certainly uncomfortable. I started pinching my hand and slapping my cheeks to make sure it's not a dream, and guess what? IT'S NOT!

" Hello?!" I said not expecting an answer, I got out of my bed. The ground was cold, I felt the the coldness climb up my pale skin to my brain the minute my foot landed on the ground, causing my brain to get shocked.

I don't know where I am, what's this place? I walked over to something that looks like the door, I tried to open it. It was thick, heavy and metallic.

I used all my energy trying to open that stupid door, I dragged it multiple times but it was so heavy, I looked around and saw this button next to the door. I pressed it and it opened. Then I realized how uncivilized and dumb I was.

I got out of the room barefooted, I looked around and all I could see was a hall that can go left or right. I heard two voices talking a language I couldn't identify, they talked in a monotone , they sounded weird and creepy to be honest.

They were approaching, so I tried to hide, I can see their shadows, it was unfamiliar and certainly unusual, there voices were getting louder the more they approach and then...

You can't believe what I saw, I saw two hideous weird looking creatures with extremely huge skulls, they were very pale, and had big black eyes and tiny mouths, if you see them you would assume they were stark naked since they had no clothes on .

You can see their skulls through their skin since it was clearly showing, they creeped me out because they looked like...Aliens! I looked closely not believing my eyes, as they walked further I started following them. I needed to know where I am and I needed to know fast. I made sure I wasn't being seen as I was following them. There were many doors, all plain all white. They entered a room and closed the door, I hesitated. Do I peek and see what they're doing...?

I opened the door slowly, there were many people, mainly children. I tried to take a closer look.. I pushed the door by mistake and it made a squeaky noise. I tried to run as fast as I can, I ran so fast that everything in front of me was so vague, I can't see anything. I felt like I bumped into something or someone I'm not really sure.

As I regain my consciousness, I saw a beautiful girl with long black hair, she was wearing a white jumpsuit with a grey line on each side. I bumped into her and spilled whatever she was carrying.

" I'm sorry, are you okay?" She said rushing check if I'm okay, I stayed quiet and looked at her, she doesn't look like them, do I ask her about where I am or would she be an undercover alien?

" Hey, you look new here!, those expressions of yours give out everything you're thinking about, you're an open book!" She said laughing. "I'm Allison by the way ,nice to meet you" she said as I got up on my feet. She reached out to shake my hand, but I didn't want to risk anything.

"Okay " she said pulling back her hand. I tried to avoid talking to her and walked away, she followed me. " Hey, hey what's your name?" She said as she followed me. "Olivia " I said in a low voice looking at the ground as I kept walking. "Oh, you're new here right?" She said. I stopped, looked in her in the eyes and said "Please leave me alone, please for god's sake leave me alone!"

" Some one is angry!" Allison said looking disappointed. After few moments of silence, she didn't go away " You said your name was Allison right?" I said,"Look, I wanted to know...where am..I?" I continued with hesitation and fear.

" You'll know when it's time to know" Allison said as she tapped me on the shoulder and left. Why didn't she tell me where am I? She tried to avoid my question.

I followed Allison, " Wait please, tell me where am I?" I asked. She stopped and looked in my eyes " You'll know when it's time to know" she said and walked again. "What if now is the time to know?" I asked.

" Olivia, we'll talk later okay?" She told me trying to get rid of me."You know that I'm a very stubborn person and I'm not leaving till I know what I want to know" I told her determined, she held my hand and pulled me into a random room. This room was completely empty, lighting wasn't very bright either.

" Olivia, gosh how can I say this?" She said rhetorically, "Come on, just talk and spill the truth. How hard could it be?!" I said with absolutely no patience. She looked at me for few seconds before she started talking. "You are kidnapped by aliens, they do that every year.

You were put in a room alone so you'll be a worker and not an experimental data" she said talking really fast with an expressionless face." What did you just say?" I asked with my mouth opened and my eyes bugged out. " You'll know everything in details later Olivia I can't tell you more" she said leaving.

" Allison, at least is there a way to get out?" I said. " No, no way out" she said. " I didn't feel anything, no beam of light no space ships nothing" I said surprised.

"You don't usually feel anything but dizzy... Olivia, although I'm loving our little chitchat, I'm afraid I can't answer more questions" Allison left before I got the chance to ask for more questions, she just left. For now you can say that one mystery is kind of down, 1000 mysteries to go.

Too many questions started rushing into my brain, bumping into each other, all unanswered. How can I get out of here?
