Chapter 7: Lucas down, Parker down

I heard the knocking on my door 5am, it's the time we usually wake up. I headed to have my breakfast, accompanied my Lucas, Allison and Parker.

"We would like to welcome a new guest to our humble table, put your hands together for PARKER!" Allison said holding her juice bottle as a microphone and making funny faces and noises.

I smiled and Lucas laughed as he clapped. Parker just stared, as if he was thinking of something deeply, Allison just continued eating and Lucas stopped laughing and looked at Parker. Parker was sitting there expressionless, he stared and ate slowly. " Parker" I said trying to get his attention. He didn't reply, "Parker!" I said again in a louder voice.

He looked like he was possessed, and the possessor got out of his body the minute I called him again. He looked at me, "Are you okay?" I asked.

" Yeah, I'm fine, I'm wonderful actually...I'm just trapped inside random place that has no way out...See, I feel amazing, you see I don't even know if we're still on earth or that's a different planet" he said being sarcastic. "Everyone knows aliens are on mars, duh!" Lucas said. Allison punched him to stay quiet while we had our serious talk.

"It's fine Parker, we'll figure something out" I said calming him down. "Yeah sure, I'll be stuck here 4 years or even more just like you!" He said loudly. Allison noticed that our conversation was getting intense so she held Lucas' hand and got up. "Okay guys, we'll give you some time alone till you finish. C'mon Lucas" she said. "Don't bother, we have nothing to talk about" I said as I left Angrily.

Parker followed me, I entered the same room Allison explained everything to me in. That was room 428, it was the only empty and abandoned room. I put my hand on my head and sigh, I'm trying to help Parker but he seems different. Parker entered that room, Allison told him I'm sure.

"Hey" he said in a low voice, " Look, I just...Everyone thinks you're dead Olivia, I don't want this to happen to me too!" He said, I look at him "Parker that won't happen, you have to be patient and we'll figure something out" I told him.

"You seem happy that your here, you're optimism doesn't go with what's happening Olivia!!" He said in a loud voice. I walk over to him "I'm optimistic for two reasons Parker" I said " Reason number one is that if you're obliged to do something and you have no solution, then try to enjoy it" I continued.

"And reason number two is that nobody there really cares if I return, at least I have someone who cares about me here... even if they were undercover aliens" I said loudly and angrily. " I do care about you!" Parker said the minute Allison barged in.

"Olivia, you're the observer and you literally left Lucas alone and that's not good" she said frowning." Is he okay?" I asked worried. " Come see for yourself" she told me and opened the door for me widely. I ran to Lucas with fear and concern. Allison followed me and reached a room where I found Lucas was laying on a bed.

"Lucas!! Are you okay?" I said. The alien came and looked in my eyes, I moved backward and hit Parker by mistake. "What's wrong?" He said asking about Lucas. Lucas was laying on the bed with a pale face, Allison looked at me, "Lucas' food was poisoned"she said. The alien held what looks a squared white object that looked like a teaser, it shone like lightening and was certainly frightening.

An alien held me from behind, the Haax rushed toward me and electrocuted me. "Oli-" that's the last thing I heard Parker say and I don't know what happened after that.

"Olivia, Olivia " I saw someone that looked like Parker. There were bright lights and everything was blurry. I was laying on something, I assumed I was in my room since it felt like my bed.

Suddenly, I can see clearly again. "Are you okay?" Parker said. "What on earth happened?" I asked. "You woke up in alien world where you became-" Parker said when I interrupted him.

"Parker I mean the past hour...or hours" I said in a loud voice, "Lucas got poisoned from the food mainly because you left him alone... and the Haax punished you by electrocuting you" Parker said.

I rushed to Lucas and found him laying on the bed alone. Parker came in "Olivia, I need to go, will you be okay?" He said. " I can manage" I said as he left. I put my hand on Lucas' cheek and sighed, "I'm sorry Lucas, I'm sorry" I said as I felt my tear fall from the edge of my eye to the edge of my lips, then it was followed by another tear.

All these days never cleared any confusion, it made the whole thing more vague. I couldn't remember anything before waking up in this place. It was time for me to do something.
