Cole smiled at his report card, telling him his great scores in each class, he scratched his cheek as he read the comments from each teacher. Each of them said something on the lines of, "Great improvement!" or "Keep it up!"

Cole scooped some ice cream into his spoon, which he rewarded himself with because of his good grades. As he slurped the ice cream into his mouth, he heard a door open. He was residing in a living room of a nice house, a man entered the room. He was wearing a suit.

"I see you are still successful in your night raids," the man stated with a smirk.

"That I am," Cole replied without personality, continuing to stare at his grades.

"Come on, when are you going to warm up to me?" the man frowned as he sat down next to Cole.

"Try relieving me of my duties," Cole snapped as he glared at the man.

"But you don't want that," the man grinned, Cole glanced at him weakly, "you like the money, the power, the name you are making..."

Cole looked away, "I'd rather be free from your use, Tam."

"Don't lie to yourself," Tam sternly answered, then he changed the subject, "are you maintaining your outside relationships without suspicion?"

"Yeah," Cole nodded, "Sam seems alright and my relationship with Alice is growing ever healthier."

"Good, good," Tam smiled as he let out a sigh of relaxation, "Our client will be here soon."

"Okay," Cole muttered, "What am I getting?"

"He is an arms dealer," Tam began, "He has a large supply of weapons, he needs to be on our side, we need to be well equipped against Yoki."

"Yoki is the other organization in the local underground right?" Cole recited.

"Yes, Yoki and us, Chasm; there are other tiny groups, but they are meager in comparison," Tam answered, "do what you please to get him to side with us, he is staying the night, easy enough for you."

"Cakewalk," Cole snorted with amusement, "he might as well give up now."

A doorknock ended their conversation, Tam shot up from the couch with a smirk on his face, "Our victim has arrived."

Tam enthusiastically welcomed the three visitors, two bigger men armed with guns and a shorter, nicely dressed man in the center, that was the arms dealer.

"Pleasure to meet you," the man bowed with confidence, Cole knew, this man thought he was going to control this meeting, it seems this man is good at manipulating people in this setting, too bad he is facing Cole, he will lose.

"My name is Francis Hex," the man snided further with high self esteem, "pleasure to do business with ya."

"The name is Tam," Tam responded slightly taken aback, "cannot wait to come to terms with you."

"And who else has graced me with their company?" Francis politely asked as he pointed at Cole, than his face crunched with greed, he sneered, "Is that the one and only Cole Braxton?"

"Indeed," Tam responded in Cole's place, Cole merely looked at Francis in the eyes with a straight face.

"I know exactly who you are," Francis sneered at Cole triumphantly, "You have become well known for getting what he wants, but you won't beat me, I am another tier."

"If that is so," Cole sighed with confidence, "Than I cannot wait to experience losing, I always wonder what it's like after I beat my client."

"And learn you will," Francis smirked with malice, then his face loosed up as he casually added to Tam, "What is on the menu tonight?"
