CHAPTER 3 & 4

Chapter 3~ Shining's decision

Natsuki grabbed for Mei's hand and ran. She looked back to see Syo taking the glasses from Ittoki. He stepped on Ittoki, continuing to chase Natsuki without Ittoki.

Natsuki dragged Mei into a dark room. After he pulled her in, he softly closed the door; Syo ran past the closed door. Then Natsuki turned to Mei, but before he could say anything, the lights suddenly flicked on. Turning, Mei saw all of STARISH, except Syo and Ittoki, are gathered inside the room.

Natsuki cursed under his breath at the sight. But when he turned and reopened the door, he came face-to-face with Syo and Ittoki. Syo had an evil grin as he slowly advanced on Natsuki as Natsuki backed away.

"Got you!" Syo screamed as he jumped onto Natsuki and pushed the pair of glasses onto him.

Natsuki stumbled back and blinked a few times in confusion before he asked, "Eh? What're we doing here?"

"Syo-chan!" Ittoki breathlessly complained as he rubbed the spot where Syo stepped on. "How could you step on me like that?!"

Syo just held his head high in the air and cackled as an answer.

"Who're you, kitten?" Mei turned to find Jinguji Ren's face inches from hers.

She stumbled back with a gasp. Heat coursed through her veins because of his close proximity. "Um - I ... uh -"

"Mei-chan! Mei-chan!" She heard her best friends' worried voices calling just outside the room. She was so happy that she immediately stood upright and hit her head on someone's chin. That someone turned out to be Syo.

For a moment, both of them held on to their hurt spots and groaned in pain.

"Oh," said Miyu's voice from the doorway, "Mei's in here!" Miyu pointed at Mei when she spotted her. Kiyoki sighed in relief while Kazumi ran up to Mei, grabbing her arms, unaware of their surroundings.

"Where have you been?! We were worried!" she exclaimed. Mei laughed awkwardly in response and gave a glance around the room.

'I've been with gorgeous boys, in case you haven't notice.'

The girls almost faint when they realised STARISH was in the room. They were so handsome up close. Really handsome. After a short introduction of one another, they stood in awkward silence.

Mei and Kazumi's stomachs growled loudly all of a sudden. Erasing the awkward atmosphere. Everyone stared at them, and they smiled sheepishly.

Ren draped an arm each on Kazumi and Mei's shoulder. "Aw, my little kittens are hungry. Why don't I treat you to lunch?"

The two girls blushed and quickly turned away shyly, and Natsuki pushed Ren away. Then he hugged them both. "Your faces are so red! Hmm.. Reminds me of tomato! That's so cute!"

"Let's get going," Hijirikawa Masato shook his head and he left, passing them with Ichinose.

At the same time
*In the Headmaster's Office*

"Why're we here again?" Ranmaru Kurosaki asked, scratching his head, annoyed.

Reiji Kotobuki smiled excitedly and jumped up and down happily. His head turning left and right to find the principal. Like a kid. "Shining asked to see us."

"So where is he?" Ranmaru snapped, looking around in search for Shining.

A loud voice boomed above them, "My, my, how impatient you are, Ranmaru." Shining popped out of nowhere, twirling around in the air countless times. And finally, he plopped down in his chair, chin resting on his hands.
