ONE WEEK LATER
The last few shows have been good, and the tour has reached the US.
We're in California.
James is here for his movie deal, and he'll be hanging out with us after our show which is in a few minutes.
Hope has been acting kind of weird, but Lizzie and I think she's just adjusting to traveling so much.
We're sitting backstage at a Los Angeles venue.
I'm wearing a pink crop top, jean shorts, and pink Converse sneakers.
Hope's wearing a yellow dress and yellow flats.
Lizzie's wearing a floral top, black shorts, and black sandals.
Someone's doing a sound check on the microphone.
"This seems to work." he says.
For this show, we have an opening act.
A girl named Maria Brooke is singing.
Maria suddenly darts backstage.
"I'm done!" she chirps.
"Good job!" Lizzie says.
"You guys are up." a director says.
Hope, Lizzie, and I walk out onstage.
The crowd cheers.
"Hey guys!" Lizzie says.
"HI!" the crowd yells.
"I am LDShadowLady and I am joined by my two daughters, Hope and Lia!" Lizzie says.
"Hey guys!" I say.
"What's up!" Hope says.
"This is the first show of the US part of the tour!" Lizzie says.
"So today's show was a little different, because we had an opening act. Maria did an amazing job!" I say.
"So, we need to call up volunteers to come up on stage!" Lizzie says.
"Hope, you pick someone." I say.
"You with the black shirt! With purple hair!" Hope says.
She climbs up on stage.
Hope gives her a hug.
"What's your name?" she asks.
"Ashley." the girl says.
"Give it up for Ashley!" I say.
The crowd cheers, and Ashley exits the stage.
45 MINUTES LATER
We exit the stage.
"We have a meet and greet." Lizzie says.
We walk outside, where a booth is set up.
Fans begin to line up.
A boy who looks around Lizzie's age comes up first.
He has black hair which is sleeked back, bright blue eyes, and he's wearing an LDShadowLady shirt and athletic shorts.
"Hi!" Lizzie says.
"Hey guys! I can't believe this is actually happening!" he says.
Lizzie smiles.
"What's your name?" she asks.
"Gavin. I'm 23." he says.
"Oh wow, an adult fan! Most of my fans are under 18. It's nice to see that not only kids watch my videos." Lizzie says.
They chat for a few minutes.
By the end of the conversation, they exchange numbers.
Finally, he leaves the booth.
"Bye!" Lizzie says.
Another fan comes up.
She has mint green hair, brown eyes, and she's wearing an LDShadowLady hoodie and black leggings.
"Hi!" Lizzie says.
"Hi Lizzie!" she says.
"What's your name?" Lizzie asks.
"Josie. I'm 15. I came here all the way from Texas."
(A/N: this might sound kinda stupid but Josie is named after one of my dogs. I'm sorry I just love my dogs so much.)
"Wow, that's great!" Lizzie says.
After chatting for a few minutes, Josie leaves the booth.
For some reason, I feel like we're going to meet her again sometime.
1 HOUR LATER
"James should be here in about 10 minutes." I tell Hope.
"Hope, we need to talk." Lizzie says.
"Ok." Hope says.
They go into Lizzie's room.
H O P E
"Hope, this is...really scary news. But I promise you won't get hurt." Lizzie says.
"Okay." I say, growing worried.
"Your dad is out of jail...and looking for you." she says.
"What?" I ask, my eyes widening.
"We can't let him find out that we're on tour. But I'm scared he already knows." she says.
All of a sudden, there's a sharp knock at the door of the jet.

Cliffhanger!
Sorry for not updating, I went on vacation.
I've been traveling for a few days, and I haven't really had time to update.
The knock at the door could be James, or Hope's father.
