The girls are tired. They're drained emotionally and physically. They're dreading every moment of this never ending shit fest, not knowing which one is going to die next. It's 3:00 now, four more hours. They started with eight people, then ended up with five. They lost and gained people. Lost all concept of time, and gained nothing from this. They're disgusted with themselves.

Five cross dressers, dragging their feet as they walk, murdering humans. With no emotion. No grasp of reality, all they know by now is killing. Murder, something they cannot take back. They can't admit they're murderers. People say nothing counts during the Purge.

Taking a life away, taking a brother, a son, a cousin, a nephew, a grandchild, a child. It counts even if it's legal or not. At this point, they're all zombies. They have to finish this though. They can't let down their fellow sisters lost in the battle they call the Purge.

They regret doing this, it hardened them. It took the little innocence they had away. Violet has seen some traumatic shit in her life, but nothing as scarring as watching a dead body fall to your feet. It wasn't just a dead body. It was a human that had hopes and dreams. A body with emotions, ambitions, compassion. But when it comes down to it. It's just a dead body.

   That'll never be brought back.
