Chapter 1

Marcus moved towards me smiling as he tried to deliver a hard punch but I dodged it easily, sending a knee into his stomach when he wasn't expecting it. He recovered quickly and smirked. He came running at me once again and I ran to meet him, just as he got close I kicked him hard into his chest sending him flying back and landing on his ass. He waved him hand in the air and a mock surrender.

"I can't catch a break between you and your mom kicking my ass, your close to her strength now little Ruby" Marcus smiled. Every since I can remember, he has called me little Ruby.

"I think after years of you kicking my ass, it was my turn to win" I smiled.

"True, you won because you had such a great teacher" he smirked.

"Sure it is" I teased.

He got off the ground and wrapped his arm's around me, squeezing me tightly. Marcus is my favourite uncle, he has been ever since I can remember. He released me and put his arm' s around my shoulder as we walked to the training facility. It took awhile to get use to all the guards staring at me with lust since I hit sixteen, to dad' s and Marcus' s dismay. It's worse with the new guards, they haven't had long to deal with the effects of a seducer like the other guards who had my mother to deal with everyday, even now some still can't control their reactions towards her. I got more than one gift like the king knew I would, I'm the first of the new stronger line of the royals. Along with been a seducer, I have the gift to read minds. telekinesis, unstoppable and oddly part of my mother's unique gift, I can't kill with it but I can inflict a hell of a lot pain. That gift was the one that confused the king, he wasn't expecting that at all.

Once we walked past the lust filled guards, I spotted my mom training some of the new guards who could barely concentrate with how close my mom is to him. She pinned him in a seconds. The others guards couldn't hold back their laughs.

"I don't know what your laughing about you are all every bit as bad as him" Mom laughed as they all looked embarrassed.

"Hey lil sis, just thought I would come to tell you that lil Ruby kicked my ass today" Marcus said proudly.

I looked at mom, she has so much pride and love in her eyes as she smiles at me and then wraps her arm's around me.

"Well done honey, I'm so proud of you, I knew it wouldn't be long" she winked at Marcus and hugged me.

"Took long enough, but I finally won" I smiled.

"Your dad is going to be so proud when he hear s this" she beamed.

"Great, I won't hear the end of this, okay, I'm going to take my niece out of here, as hard as it is to deal with every male looking at my lil sister like that, I can't stand them looking at my lil Ruby like that"he said glaring at all the guards til they looked away embarrassed. Marcus walked me back to my house so I could get a shower after training today.

"See you in awhile, I'm going to check on Lily, won't be long til our little baby arrives" Marcus said beaming.

"You're going to be a great father, your a great uncle, my favourite" I said honestly.

"Thank you lil Ruby and you will always be my favourite niece, I fell in love with you even when your were still in your mother' s belly" he said honestly.

I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a big squeeze and kissed him cheek.

"Go on I'm okay, tell Lily I will be over after my shower to see her and my little cousin" I told him.

He smiled and sprinted back towards the manor. I couldn't help but smile, to anyone who didn't know them he would be so intimidating but to me he is just a giant teddy bear. I walked into my home and towards my bedroom. I love it, I got to decorate it myself. My walls are all done in a deep purple and the wall around the fireplace is done in silver and purple flower wallpaper. I have my TV bolted to the wall above my fireplace. My curtains are silver. I have a king sized four poster bed with purple and silver duvet to match my wallpaper, with loads of silver and purple cushions. I walked to my wardrobe and picked out black skinny jeans, a long black tank top and a purple one to go over it. I grabbed my five inch ankle boots with laces in the front, clean underwear and walked into my bathroom. I turned on the shower and stepped into the hot water, washing away all the sweat and dirt from today. After twenty minutes I got out and dried myself off. I put on my clothes and walked into my room. I sat down in front of my mirror and looked at myself. I'm look almost identical to my mother except I have my dad's deep blue eyes. I have long thick eyelashes, a small nose and full red lips. My hair is a slightly darker blond that my mother's and falls down my back in loose curls to the bottom of my ribs. I blow dried my hair and left it down. I don't bother with make up except eye shadow or lip gloss when I'm going somewhere important. I grabbed my jacket and left the house, walking towards the manor.

The guards eyes clouded with lust as soon as they saw me. I held my head up and smiled trying to ignore their stares. I walked down the hallway towards the lounge and walked in. I got a big smile from the king and queen.

"Hello Ruby, I heard you beat my son today, well done, I'm so proud of you" he said hugging me along with the queen. I have grown treating the king and queen as grandparents.

"Thank you, I think Marcus thought it would take a little bit longer" I said smiling as Marcus and lily walked into the room.

"Hey lily, how are you feeling, your glowing" I said smiling as I walked towards her rubbing her belly.

"Ready to burst sweetie, their is no more room to grow, so hopefully he or she will come soon" lily said.

"Hopefully, I can't wait to meet him or her before I start school and won't be home til late everyday" I said with a sad smile.

"Your dad is finally letting you go " Lily smiled.

"He doesn't know it yet, but he said I could go to a proper high school when I beat Marcus and that happened today so he has to keep his end of the deal" I said smiling.

"Let me know when you're telling your dad, I want to be their to see his reaction" Marcus said smiling.
