Stronger

Chapter 19

Waking up in Killian' s arms feels like heaven. Remembering last night I couldn't help but smile. I feel complete now, but I also feel stronger. Running my hands along Killian' s they feel stronger, more toned. I turned around to face a smiling Killian.

"Morning" I smiled.

"Morning beautiful" he said and kissed my lips.

"How do you feel?" I asked.

"Really good, I feel stronger and more complete than I have ever felt before" he said as he brushed my hair back from my face.

"You look stronger, if us completing our bond is like my mom and dad, you should be unstoppable. Well not the fighting and strength part, but the unkillable part" I explained.

"Really, us completing our bond can do that, you look different too, you're hair has lighter shade of blonde running through it and you're eyes are a shade darker, you look stronger, you're muscle's are more defined" he said looking a little shocked.

"The same thing used to happen to my mom, except when she was changed, most of her appearance had changed from her hair to her body, it didn't stop til after they completed their bond" I told him.

"That must have been scary, waking up looking like a completely different person" he said.

"She said she freaked out at first, she didn't know what she had changed into and she had no one to explain it to her. From what I have seen of her memories when she was helping me get a hold of reading minds, the vampire that changed her made sure it was painful" I said disgusted.

"Some vampire's are monsters once they give over completely, I kept some of my humanity, so I would know when I found my beloved, when I found you" he smiled.

"I got close, the day Rhys was attack, I lost it, I felt so guilty because he wouldn't have been put in that position if I didn't want to go to high school, I pulled myself back when I saw he survived" I said remembering how close I came to losing myself.

"I can't imagine you ever accepting the dark side, to me you are the light that pulled me back" he said honestly.

I'm glad I did, I couldn't imagine my life without you in it. I could always feel you, royals can sense their mate's before they even meet them, I would have known if anything happened to you, if I lost you" I said cringing at the thought.

"I would hate to have lost you before I ever met you. I would always be waiting to meet you, to feel the emotion and connection when we meet for the first time. I would always know I'm missing a part of me" he said honestly.

"We won't ever have to worry about that " I smiled as he pulled me closer to him.

We stayed in bed for awhile longer before we dragged ourselves out from it.

Walking back to my house, I couldn't stop smiling. Walking into the kitchen I found mom in there. She turned to look at me and gave me the biggest smile possible.

"Oh wow, you and Killian have completed you're bond, I can see some subtle changes but I can feel the biggest one, you have so much power radiating from you. I wonder if you're power's have grown and reached their full extent" she asked with a wicked smile.

"Only one way to find out" I smiled.

"Wonder if the you're uncle and father are up for some training" mom said.

"Worth a try, I'm going to put on some different clothes and I will be right out" I said, as I walked to my bedroom.

Looking in the mirror, I noticed the changes, my hair is longer and has lighter shades of blonde running through it in streaks. My eyes are at least two shades darker and lips are a darker shade of red. My body is more toned and defined. I turned away from my mirror and grabbed a pair of black sweatpants, a blue and black tank top and my hightops. I left my room and went into the kitchen where mom is waiting.
