Chapter 21

Walking towards the manor to find my parent's, my blood is boiling with every step. I can't believe someone could stoop so low as to take an innocent baby, who the hell does that. I know Killian is okay, I can feel him through our bond. That is the only thing keeping me from losing my mind. Finding the room my parent's are in, I didn't knock, I just walked in. My mom looks completely frustrated and my dad trying to calm her down.

"Did you get anything else from him?" I asked surprising them both.

"Nothing useful" mom said sadly as she walked over and hugged me.

"Then that leaves one more option" I told her.

"Well, two more option's, you and me" she said seriously.

"Then we better get ready, the thought's of him having Killian and Cody turns my stomach" I told her.

"We can go together" Dad said.

"We need you to stay here incase he is planning to attack here while we're gone, you and Marcus are unstoppable and the strongest, with you two here we won't have to worry" mom said smiling sadly.

"Then promise me you too will be careful" Dad said as he wrapped his arm's around mom and I.

"We will, I won't let anything happen to our baby" mom said looking at me.

Leaving dad with the vampire, mom and I walked back to our home to get changed. I put on black leggings, a black tank top and my hightops. I kept my chain on incase anything goes wrong. Tying my hair into a high pony tail, I walked out of my room to find mom in near enough the same outfit. We both look at each other and laughed. I think we needed to laugh before we walk into god's knows what to get Killian and Cody back.

"We stick together okay baby, anything goes wrong you get Cody and Killian out of there" mom said seriously.

"The same goes for you too mom" I told her.

"Nope, as much as Cody and Killian mean to me, you're my daughter, I won't be leaving without you" mom said sternly. I smiled and hugged her before we headed outside.

Marcus, dad and Amara are standing beside my car. When they saw us, Marcus came walking towards us. He hugged mom so tight he would have broke her if she wasn't unstoppable. He kissed her forehead and put her down so dad could wrap his arm's around her.

"Please be careful lil Ruby, thank you for doing this for us, lily hasn't spoken since we found him missing, I know she is thinking the worst" Marcus said.

"Try keep her positive, I won't be leaving without Cody and if he has done something to him, I will drag him back here and let lily lose on him. But I know in my heart he is okay, Kyle won't risk hurting him" I reassured him.

"I hope so" he said, he wrapped his arm's around me, squeezing me tightly. I know it's killing him that I'm going for Cody but it's killing him not knowing where his son is. He eventually let me go and dad immediately wrapped his arm's around me.

"You and you're mom stick together, they won't stand a chance against both of you, no matter how many of them there are" Dad whispered.

"We will, I promise dad" I told him. He let me go and a scared looking Amara walked towards me and I held my arm's out to her.

"He can't kill you or you're mom, can he? " she asked.

"No, he can't, but he can be killed, don't worry Amara we will be back before you know it" I reassured her.

Pulling back, I smiled at her and looked at mom. She walked to the passenger side of my car and got in as I got into the drivers seat. I drove the car out of the manors gates. I closed my eyes and concentrated on mine and Killian s bond. After a few Minute's I could feel it, pulsing through me like a live wire, an extension to him. I started driving down the road and took the first left turn. From there I kept driving straight. Mom looked through my ipod and put on James Arthur, Recovery. I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"What? I like this song" she said.

"Not exactly upbeat for what we're about to do" I said messing with her.

"Trust me, you will feel upbeat once kyle's body hits the ground and we have Cody and Killian back. At least the moron still thinks you're defenceless, we can use that to our advantage" she smiled.

Over the next hour we went over our plan of what to do once we get there. I could feel us getting closer to Killian. After another ten minutes, I stopped and took a right turn up a deserted  road that is only wide enough for one car at a time. Getting to the end of the road, an old white plantation house appeared in front of us.

"I knew Kyle wouldn't be able to slum it. I wonder how he got his hands on this place" mom said, sitting up straighter.

"There is enough land for him to keep a small army here without being noticed" I said, taking in our surroundings.

Parking the car a little from the house, I checked the time. We're about an hour early so he won't be expecting us yet.

"You ready for this Ruby?" mom asked.

"Definitely, it's time to end this" I told her.

Listening, I could hear the sound of training coming from behind the house. We both started walking toward the back of the house. The closer we got, the louder the noise got. Walking around the corner, my jaw dropped as pure rage bubbled inside of me, so hot my skin should be burning. They have Killian tied to a tree with the word  traitor carved out on his chest. If he hadn't become unstoppable through our bond he would be dead, he just needed another week to feel the full effects, they wouldn't have been able to mark or hurt him then. Mom grabbed my hand squeezing it, trying to get me to calm down so I can think clearly. But my eyes could only focus on my beloved and the pain he must have felt when they carved that into to his chest. After a few minutes, I pulled myself together enough to make our plan work.

Looking at mom, she gave me a quick nod before she gave a loud cough. All eyes snapped towards us. Within a couple of seconds, their eyes all turned black with lust as their eyes roamed every inch of our bodies. One man started to walk through the crowd and stopped a few meters in front of us.

"You're early, but I can't complain, I got more than I bargained for. The protector and her defenceless daughter. Seduction isn't really a worth while gift, it doesn't keep you safe, now does it Ruby?" he smirked making my skin crawl.

"I take it you're Kyle. Not nearly as impressive as I thought you would be, but then again you could never compare to Marcus or my dad. There real men, you, you're just a coward who hides behind an army as they carry out you're dirty work" I said tilting my head to the side, bating him.

"What would you know princess, you can't even leave the manor without guards, you're unable to defend yourself, a weak pathetic excuse for a royal" he sneered.

"Ha, you're the weak pathetic excuse for a royal. You can't even return home because not even you're father can stand the sight of you. It takes a weak man to lower himself to taking a baby" I spat.

"You should really watch what you say, I plan on killing you slowly but if you keep going in this direction, I'm afraid I won't be able to hold myself back from ripping you're head off" he glared evily.

"As if I would let you touch a hair on my daughter's head Kyle. Are you that stupid that you would think I would allow that" mom glared.

"You won't have a choice, you might have taken out a hundred men before, but as you can see, we're nearly double that number now. You can't fight them all off and protect you're daughter at the same time" he smirked, thinking he has this all worked out.

He is about to learn the hard way.
