Chapter 12

Walking from shop to shop to find the perfect outfit for tomorrow night is harder than I thought it would be. We both want to look our best. I told Amara about finding my mate but not about who I am or that he was following me to kill me. Amara was so excited she squealed and did a little happy dance. Even though my parent's know I can protect myself their sending Rhys to check out that I'm not being set up for an attack. I haven't told them yet about Killian, I want to see how tomorrow night goes first and that I'm a hundred percent sure he isn't going to hurt my family. But I know In  my heart I can trust him.

"Okay Amara, let's see if we can find anything in here" I smiled.

"Ruby, I won't be able to afford anything in here, it's so expensive" Amara said looking at a beautiful dress in the window that would be perfect for her.

"You don't have to worry about that, I am buying you a dress for you're birthday and pampering you" I smiled, grabbing her hand and dragging her into the shop.

Looking around, I smiled. Every dress in the shop is beautiful, with different dresses for all occasions and shoe's to match. I watched Amara walk over to the dress she saw in the window. I listened to her thought's to see what she really thought of it and I am right, she is in love with it but doesn't want to take advantage of my offer to buy her dress. I pulled back from her mind. Walked over to her and picked out the dress in her size and shoe's to match. Grabbing her once again, I brought her to the changing room, hung the dress up and pushed her inside.

"Try it on Amara, you're not coming out til you do" I ordered playfully.

"Okay, but you're not buying it" she said even though I could hear in her voice how much she wants it.

While she tried it on, I looked around for my own dress. After a few minute's I spotted it. I walked over and looked at it closely, it's perfect. I picked it up in my size and looked for shoe's to match. Looking at the shelves of shoe's I picked out a pair to go perfectly with it. I walked to the counter and paid for them. I looked back to the changing room and found Amara still hasn't come out. I took my bag and walked towards the changing room.

"Are you okay Amara?" I asked concerned.

"Yes, I just don't want to take it off yet, it's too beautiful" she sighed.

"Come out and let me see" I asked dying to see her in it.

She opened the door and walked out wearing the dress. It looks perfect on her, fitting her like a glove, clinging to all the right places.

"Wow Amara, it looks beautiful on you" I smiled.

"I shouldn't of tried it on it only makes me want it more now" she said sadly.

"I will buy it for you Amara" I told her again.

"No, it's too expensive, we can look in the next shop" she smiled sadly.

"Okay, I will meet you outside" I told her.

I rushed to where I got her dress and picked up another one in her size and did the same with the shoe's. Running to the counter I quickly paid for them, grabbed the bag and walked outside. Amara didn't come out for another little while.

"Did you find a dress?" Amara asked looking curiously at the bag's.

"I did and shoe's aswell" I smiled.

We looked in every other shop and Amara left all of them disappointed that she couldn't find anything to compare to the dress she tried on. I put my arm around her as we walked to my car and got in.
