The beach getaway turned out better than expected, but by this point, that was a couple of weeks ago. You're not entirely sure if the Host Club knows you and Kyoya are dating or not besides Haruhi for the fact that you discuss the pretenses of your relationship with her and she's not one to openly share information like that.
Currently, you and Haruhi are leaving Marutomi Supermarket that's only two blocks away from the apartment. The regular sales given on Sundays were too good to pass up and you're both heading back with one bag each.
"There's no better time to hit the supermarket than a Sunday morning," Haruhi comments.
"Definitely. It's never too packed, either," you reply. "But we still have to clean the kitchen and do laundry when we get home."
"Yeah, but it shouldn't take too long."
You feel your phone vibrate in your pocket, reach your free hand down to grab it, and check the text message you just received from Kyoya.
"What's wrong?" Haruhi asks, reading your confused expression.
"Kyoya texted me saying he's coming over," you answer, sliding your phone back into your pocket. "Not that I have a problem with that, but it's a little random."
You and Haruhi turn the corner and see a crowd of people gathered at the end of the block for some undisclosed reason.
"What's going on?" Haruhi ponders. "Why are they all in front of our apartment?"
"I don't know, but I bet we'll find out very soon," you respond.
Continuing forward, you and Haruhi manage to spot the two very expensive cars. Two drivers open the doors simultaneously and, low and behold, the Host Clubs steps out onto the street. You, along with Haruhi, stop dead in your tracks and stare blankly in shock at the unfortunate scene playing out.
"So this is where Haruhi and (Y/N) live?" Kaoru questions the others with their backs turned to you.
"When Kyoya said he was coming over, I didn't think he was bringing everyone else, too," you mumble.
"It's pretty big--bigger than I thought I'd be," Hikaru says.
"This building is what you might call a commoner dwelling. (Y/N) and Haruhi's home is one of many units," Kyoya informs.
"I'm going to kill them," Haruhi grumbles.
"Not if I do first," you mutter.
"Kyoya!" Tamaki exclaims. "Why? Why did you bring these idiots with us, especially those two doppelganger!?"
"Well, you see, I knew you didn't have the courage to come here alone, so I thought it'd be best if everyone came along," Kyoya answers, sighing and beginning to walk to the cars. "All right, let's go home. I guess I overestimated our great leader."
"I'm sorry!" Tamaki shouts, forcing him to return to his spot. "Don't leave. I don't want to be alone."
"This is Tamaki's fault," you say, the anger subsiding for a moment.
"My dad is going to be back soon and these idiots aren't going to leave," Haruhi replies.
"Listen up, Men! Don't you forget: we must be polite. This is a casual, we-just-happen-to-be-in-the-neighborhood kind of visit. We're not here to judge their family's lifestyle. The words 'shabby', 'cramped', and 'rundown' are absolutely forbidden!" Tamaki asserts. "Don't say anything that might offend (Y/N), Haruhi, or her father and cause them to ask us to leave."
"Well, it's already too late for that. Go away!" Haruhi commands loudly.
You lock eyes with Kyoya, and by the small smirk on his lips, you know he finds this extremely humorous and fun. You shoot him an annoyed, deadpan look to say you're not enjoying this one bit.
