Nobody's pov About of a couple of days later, they were friends. Peridot and lapis liked a lot of the same things, like camp pining hearts, anime, cats, drawing, robots, games, etc. lapis found out lots about Peri. Peridot has insomnia, she is a lesbian, she has a flower tattoo on her left shoulder, and she was thinking of getting a cat, because they are actually allowed in the dorms. She found out peridot was practically blind without her glasses, and that peridot likes swimming, witch made lapis fangirl . They had sat together and talked every time they went to the dining hall, lapis had even gone to target with peridot to get snacks for their snack cabinet. Amethyst who was a friend of peridots, had invited them to a rave at the old warehouse in upper beach city. After lapis promised peri she wouldn't drink, they went. They arrived, the dj was a sophomore named sour cream, and people were already pretty drunk. Peridots outfit

Peridot went to go get lapis and herself cola, while lapis sat on a broken sofa and played music. Some guy came up to lapis. "Hey cutie,wanna have some fun?." He said. " umm, no you a*shole. " He stepped closer. " bug off." " the names Kevin. I go to the same crap school as you. I've seen you around ." He persisted. She was getting irritated and creeped out now. She was just about to call out for help, while he was about to grab her hand, then a Diet Coke can flew right into his face and he was flung backwards. Lapis turned to see an angry peridot had thrown it. Peri then punched his gut and kicked his shins. She grumbled and a few people were staring. Lapis embraced peridot. " Thanks peridot. " lapis said, a tint of pink on her tan skin. Peridot blushed a bit and handed lapis a regular coke and took a sip from a sprite can. " I hate Diet Coke." Peridot said bitterly while still blushing. They spent the rest of the night dancing. Lapis's favorite song came on and she made peri dance with her.
She twirled peridot in a spin, and smiled. She smiled back. They did the tango, though they were both pretty clumsy. They laughed along, and then: Lapis tripped on a bottle. Peridot gasped and grabbed her hand, trying to keep her from hurting herself. They ended up in this position.
