Glassy Eyes

Lapis was not okay. She was not broken anymore, she stoped being broken when she came here. She met all her friends, and peridot. She still hated actual school, but meh. She has depression and PTSD, and also a rare medical condition that causes her eyes to lose color and pupil when she cries, the salt water and eye sensitivity trigger the eyes to do so. Her mother used to call them " glass eyes," and if she cried they would stay for the next 24 hours, then slowly fade away. She used to be bullied, she did cry a lot as a child. But the whole PTSD thing started with Jasper. She cried in their abusive relationship too. She would physically and mentally hurt her to to point of sobbing where she would choke on her own tears.
She hasn't cried in a while, but then, they had the picnic day between Quartz School, and the Elite Diamond school. Jasper goes to that school. Rose Quartz and the diamond sisters were not on good terms, but, the schools were close and many of the students were friends, so they had no choice but to have a yearly " picnic."
Lapis sat in Flowers, the white daisies. Peridot sat next to her with a soft smile. She kissed Peri on the cheek, and Peri blushed like a tomato. A certain cheeto puff was watching with anger.
Lapis spotted Jasper looking at them, when Jasper noticed, she grinned and stalked towards them, while checking for nearby teachers.
Lapis felt peridots small form latch on to her in a protective manner.
Lapis stood in front of Peri before Jasper could get to her. Jasper rammed her fist into lapis's stomach, as the small girl coughed a crimson liquid. Jasper grabbed onto lapis's arm tight, digging her nails, triggering the flow of blood further. " Pathetic." Jasper laughed. She squeezed her arm tighter until she heard a crack. The pain shot threw her wrist. Lapis whimpering, tears pricking her eyes. But not crying, mentally told herself, Peridot knows that you have glassy eyes. She said she loves you.
Peridot kicked Jasper's leg, but Jasper simply kicked back, flinging the damaged Peridot into the concrete. She groaned. Lapis bit Jasper's arm as hard as she could, Jasper releasing her wounded arm in the process, but not before punching her cheek, lapis spat out more blood and landed a few feet away from the crying Peridot. Oh no. Peridot was having another anxiety attack. She tried to reach out to her, but only to find Jasper stepped on her neck. Hard. The white hot pain. A sob racked through Lapis's weak frame, then another. Another. On and on. Glassy eyes. " JASPER JEWEL!!" A teacher screamed at Jasper, as a couple more teaches rushed to their aid.
Lapis's blue eyes had turned into mirrors, as she was lifted into the ambulance, peridot followed being extremely worried.
The world faded to black as she heard Peridot crying.

" I'm sorry..." she managed.
