Chapter6 Morning of guilt

Inarie's POV

"Wake up!!!!!"An overly annoying but familiar voice shouted along with banging on my door."Go away."I groaned back but the knocking never stopped.Looking up at my clock I noticed it was only 4:00 and the sun wouldn't rise till six.With that in mind I dragged myself to the front door and ripped it open making Zorie smile in accomplishment."GO HOME!!!!!"

She cringed at my loudness but put her foot in the door before I could shut it."I need someone to talk too."She cried out making me sigh.The girl knew I had strong feeling for her and must have been using it to her advantage.I thought opening the door for her to come in.Zorie entered my house cautiously looking around as if Id set some trap.When she was sure that I hadn't,she sat on the couch and I closed the door looking over at her."Can I ask you a question?"She asked twirling some hair on her finger."You just did,so ask another."

"Are you gonna answer it?"The blond asked making me pull at my hair."Why do you hate me!!!"I spat pulling my hair."Okay okay.Ill get down to business.Sheesh."Removing my fists from my hair I listened as she fiddled with her hair."Do you think I'm annoying?"Attempting to hold back laughter I doubled over letting a few escape."Come on,be serious."She begged punching me over the head."Okay okay.I be sewious."I teased making her fold her arms while pouting."Come on!"She urged stomping her feet in a small tantrum."Yes!Yes your annoying."

She froze and grew quiet making me do the same.Tears filled her eyes and her bottom lip quivered making me panic."What's the matter?"I asked pulling her into an awkward hug which she struggled free from.When she was free she dashed out the door leaving me in shock along with guilt."You blew it again idiot."I whispered to myself climbing to my feet and running my fingers through my morning hair.After closing the door I took a shower and got dressed feeling worse than ever.I made a bowl of cereal and sat at my table eating alone like always."Why do I chase everyone away?"I asked starring down at the reflection I made in the milk.When I finally finished my food I headed out to wait at the leaf gate.When Zorie comes I'll apologise and then give her some cake.I thought remembering how Kyoto had did the same thing a month ago.She would always let him off the hook with things but the moment I joke about bunnies being stupid,I'm automatically on her hit list.Changing my course I headed for the cake shop and walked in looking around.Kids were everywhere standing or sitting with their parents listening to the people on stage perform and I rolled my eyes as that fagg Keith mounted the stage and took everyone away with his beautiful voice and skilled guitar playing.(Not electrical guitar and I don't really know if the Naruto world has guitars.)Quickly I rushed to the counter."Can I get a napolitian icecream cake."The young lady nodded going into the freezer to find my order."So if it isn't Tanaka."

That homo's voice echoed from behind me.Turning around I glared at the purple headed freak.He'd obviously died and permed his hair explaining the curly edges that clung to his face along with beads of sweat.He was dressed in his usual black leather jacket accompanied with a pair of black leather pants and laced black boots.A black fadora sat confidently on his head as he grinned reaching to shake my hand."Get the hell away from me queer."I spat receiving a glare back."I'm not gay you stupid asshole!"He shouted back getting everyone to look at us."Stop making a scean,faget."

Loosing his temper he grabbed me by the collar and brought us face to face."You don't want to make me angry."He forced through clenched teeth.Placing my foot behind his I thrusted him away making him crash into a table.The crowd watching us cheered for a fight and I didn't mind giving them a show.Keith climbed to his feet and rammed into me slamming me onto the counter and threw his arm back to punch me but I flipped him and crashed my fist into his face hard enough to break his nose.He grunted pushing his wrist against my face and throwing me off.When I regained my balance he could be seen doing the same.Putting my hands up I grinned ready to bruise his pretty little face.

An hour later

Doubled over I gasped for air remembering how hard Keith had hit me.Said boy was on his back knocked out."Inarie!!!"Sensei's voice came pushing through the crowd.She came to my side helping me stand."What the fudge happened?"Mona whispered walking me through the splitting yet cheering crowd."Just an old friend."I said with a chuckle,wiping the blood from my nose."Friends don't break eachothers noses."She shot back not believing me.Shrugging I pulled out of her grip stumbling to a stop."Why do you care?"I asked shooting her a glare."Zorie sent me to tell you she was sorry."Mona said looking down."I should be the one apologizing.She came to me for help and I just put her down."

We both fell silent and Mona reached to hug me making my eyes widen."The hell are you......"I started but she had already glumped me."You look like you need a hug."She said smiling as my muscles untensed."Can you tell Zorie I didn't mean to hurt her feelings?"I asked as we continued walking and hugging.Sensei was only six inches taller than me so it didn't look to strange."She already knows Inarie.The only reason she cried was because Kyoto did something."Tensing up I looked away."What did he do?"

Mona shrugged and stopped as we came to the ramen stan.Zorie could be seen talking to Tenchi's daughter and I stopped scared that is I came close enough she would run away."Why is Zorie here?"I asked growing nervous.Mona smiled walking me closer."You still need to talk to her.Even though she dosnt at it,she wants you to be okay."I nodded and took the seat beside the small girl who smiled brightly."Good morning Inarie."She said looking at my face."What happened?"She asked touching beside my eye where a small bruise start forming."I sorta got in a fight."I answered smirking down at her."Are you Okay?"Her smile was now gone replaced by a sympathetic pout."You should of seen the other guy?"

She giggled letting my face go.Touching the spot she had been touching I looked down blushing."Remember when I called you annoying."

She put her fingers on her chin as if thinking then nodded."Well I didn't mean it,I was just angry at myself so I wanted to make you too."I explained and she looked confused."Why were you mad at yourself?"She asked curiously.I shrugged not wanting to tell her why.Before she could ask another question a ray of sunlight shone over her illuminating her features."We should go to the gate.I bet Kyoto's there."I said reluctantly and her expression brightened up."Come on!!"Zorie exclaimed grabbing my hand and pulling me with her as she ran in the direction of the gate.I easily followed wanting to find out what that looser Kyoto did to my Zorie.Did I just think my Zorie?I wandered shaking my head.

When we got to the gate sensei was already there talking to those lazy gate keepers.We stopped beside her and Zorie released my hand to hug her."We'll set out right when Kyoto arrives."Mona told her and I looked around to see that looser nearing the gate with his stupid cousin Naruto.Everyone had heard that the bridge builder named his bridge after said ninja.

Apparently I wasn't the only one who saw him coming because Zorie ran to meet him half way.She hugged him tightly and I looked away in envy.What does she see in him?I wandered balding up my fists.*Nobody will ever love a looser like you.Your an idiot,too stupid to be around people.You deserved for your mother to die,but your fathers death was just a bonus.*Those voices echoed in.my head making my fist tighten even more."I'll show everyone."I whispered walking to join my team determined to be the star in this mission even if Kyoto did something extraordinary,Id upstage him.With that in mind I stopped a few feet away from him and a smirk covered my features.He returned it with less arrogance."Prepared to be upstaged?"
