Chapter3 Team Kyoto

Kyoto'sPOV

6 years later

(Naruto,and Kyoto are 13)

The loud ring of my alarm clock woke me up,and I looked around the room.Sighing I got up and took a shower.After getting dressed I wrapped my arms in black tape along with my legs.Today we'd be assigned into three man cells with a jonnin superior.I walked to the kitchen and took a single apple as I headed to the training field.I've been training hard everyday since I began the Academy and I had no doubts that I could defeat a leaf Ambu and if not at least put up a fight.The sun began to rise as I entered the training field and like usual Sasuke was there training just as hard as I did.He along with most of the others passed the graduation test,but sadly Naruto failed.He wasn't as strong as I was or fast but that didn't break his will.We had the same upbringing so I understood how heartbroken he must have been,judging by the fact that he didn't come home last night.Clearing my mind I turned my attention to Sasuke who continued to train."How about a match?"He stopped and smirked at me which I returned with my own."I'd take you up on that offer if I hadn't already been training,but if you show up here tomorrow,I'll show you the results of my training."With that he left and I scratched my head trying to remember what Id been training on yesterday.When I couldn't remember I dug in my pouch bringing out a small book of ninjutsu."Let's see."I whispered flipping through the pages and stopping in the section labeled *Fire style.*After reading about a few I attempted the fireball jutsu."Fire style:Fireball jutsu!"

The ball was just as I expected it perfect.Turning away from the burning training post I headed to the Academy.Like always Sasuke was there before me,along with students who names I didn't know.I headed over to sit by the window but stopped when I spotted Naruto in the distance coming to the Academy.What's that idiot doing?I wondered looking closer.A blue headband was tied securely around his forehead.He must have stolen it,cause last time I checked he failed.Taking my seat I waited patiently for the class to arrive.About an hour later everyone arrived,even Naruto.The only one who questioned his intentions was the lazy Nara."You see this hn,hn?!"Naruto exclaimed pointing a thumb at his headband.Shikamaru shrugged and turned away.Before I could call to Naruto Iruka entered the class smiling proudly and holding a clipboard."Okay everyone,quiet down so I can assign everyone to a team."Everyone obliged and grew silent."Okay,here we are,Team one."I sat back listening for my name to be called."Team five:Kyoto Uzumaki,Zorie Makanee and Inarie Tanaka."My eyes traveled around the room in search for my team but there wasn't any signs of anyone else looking around.Guess I'll just have to wait for our sensei."Team seven:Sakura Horono,Naruto Uzumaki."Naruto cheered while she face palmed."And Sasuke Uchiha."I looked over at him and in deep thought.His team would only get in his way.Ignoring the other teams I looked out the window.The sun was beautiful but I had grown to hate it.Why shine when people were so deep in the dark."Kyoto!"Iruka's voice broke my train of though and I glared at him."Everyone went outside to eat lunch with their teams."I nodded and walked out the class,prepared to find my team.When I exited the building I was confronted by a boy and a girl.The boy had burgundy hair that laid strait in his head and covered the center of his forehead before stopping at his nose.His skin was tan like Naruto and he wore a pair of black ninja pants that weren't baggy but didn't hug his legs using his black headband as a belt,along with a long sleaved white collared shirt and black ninja sandals.The boys pouch hung on the back of his right leg and his eyes were a unique orange.I looked at the girl taking in her appearance.Her hair was styled like Sakura's accept hers was a shiny blond and came evenly over her forehead.The dress she wore was all black and hugged her waist.The skirt stopped above her knees with the bottom lined with yellow fur and her yellow headband was fastened around the waist.The upper part of her dress had a v-neck collar lined with thick yellow fur,long sleeves that cuffed at her wrists and a hood lined with the some fur.She wore yellow boots that had black fur cuffs around her ankles and they stopped at her shins.The girls eyes were a deep purple matching the purple gem earring in her ears."Aren't you Kyoto?"The girl asked in a childlike voice,rounding all her r's and tilting her head to the side."Yes and who may you be?"I asked knowing the answer but knowing they'd tell me anyway."Oh,I'm Zorie and that's Inarie."The girl told me gesturing towards the quiet Inarie."I'm not hungry."Inarie stated walking towards the closest picnic table and sitting down.Zorie followed him and I reluctantly followed her.Once we were all seated on the table Zorie started rambling on about things like kittens and bunnies."And then Mom got me a black bunny but he ran away but I told her she would."

"Hey we should go inside."Inarie suggested interrupting her and saving me from more bunny lecturing."Okay.I guess."Zorie mumbled standing up and following me,who had already start walking."Wait for me!"She called jogging to keep up with us.I couldn't blame her,we were both a good foot taller than her."How old is she?"Inarie questioned practically reading my mind.I shrugged and he shook his head looking back at her.She'd finally caught up now that we were in class with everyone else.Jonnin ninja were stopping by to pick up their squads and every one was gone accept us and team seven.My team sat with Naruto's as I calmly waited on the opposite side of the class covering my ears from time to time.Bad enough Naruto was loud but Zorie was louder.From what I could hear they were in a heated game of 20 questions."Are you green?"Naruto practically shouted making everyone accept Zorie cringe."Nope?"The girl retorted shaking her head."Are you a watermelon?"Sakura asked and I chuckled."Yes!"Zorie shouted."Wait watermelon are green!"Inarie spat in out rage."Non-unn!I'm a blue watermelon!"She defended getting a chuckle from Sasuke and nods from Naruto and Sakura.The door opened revealing a woman who looked no older than seventeen.Her hair was long,curly and black and her headband was like Sakura wore hers.She was dressed in the standard Jonnin uniform."I'm here fore team five."The girl/woman stated looking up."Mona!Your my sensei!"Zorie shouted running up and embracing the pretty lady.Everyone looked either shocked or confused and the only one who spoke was Inarie."How old are you people?"The boy shouted once again voicing my thoughts."A woman never reveals her age"They recited in union.Naruto and Sakura sweat dropped while Inarie glared."Okay,team five go across the hall."We did as she said and crossed the hall into a small classroom.Four chairs were set up in a circle and we instinctively took them.Once Sensei was situated in her seat we all sat there quietly.Sensei looked at each of us with a bright smile."That's good.You can follow rules."The woman joked.An irk mark formed on Inarie's forehead."Okay,since we don't know each other well,we should all do an intro."Zorie nodded eagerly raising her hand."Can I go first Mona?"She begged."Sensei should go first.We already know you idiot."Inarie insulted making Zorie's eyes water."He didn't mean that.Did you?"I said glaring at him."Yeah,I did"He retorted glaring back."Everyone just calm down.Ill be first,then Zorie,then Red head and finally you,orange vest."We all nodded and listened to what she had to say."You should already know that I'm Mona Makanee.I'm Zorie's older sister.I like chocolate,candy,cookies,bunnies."Inarie grunted signaling for her to speed up."Okay,I dislike boys who are impatient and bugs."She pressed on."Mostly spiders."Zorie added smiling."Things I enjoy doing are swimming,fighting,playing games....."Inarie grunted again and she glared at him."Shut up and listen!"Mona snapped surprising me.The red head put his hands up in defense with an arrogant smirk."My plans for the future is to settle down and have three kids.The end."Sensei finished and we all remained silent."My name is Zorie Makanee,I like pretty things,cute boys."With that she winked at me."My hobbies are drawing and picking flowers.The only thing I don't like is Inarie."At this he began to raise a certain finger but I caught his hand."Don't touch me!"He spat snatching his hand from my grasp."Somebody's mad!"Zorie sang.Inarie gritted his teeth then started his intro."The names Inarie Tanaka."A smirk crossed his face as he continued."My likes are none of your business,dislikes are queers."With this he glared at me who Ignored his insult."My hobbies are hanging around the flower shop,and my future plans are to be the first Fire sage."I chuckled to myself and he glared daggers my way."I'm Kyoto Uzumaki.I don't specificly like anything,and Ill keep my hates to myself.All my spair time goes to my training and when I grow up......"Stopping I glanced at the ground."I'll avenge my parents."I whispered making everyone go awkwardly silent."I like this group,its interesting,but if you want to be ninja first you need to past my test."Sensei stated standing up."I bet it's easy."Inarie laughed while I nodded."Show up at training ground five tomorrow and Ill show you just how easy my test is.Oh and it has a 100'/.failure rate."She added then poofed away in a cloud of smoke.After a few seconds of realising what she said I shot up and walked out the class.Zorie and Inarie followed jogging to catch up to my speed walk."Go away."

They ignored my orders falling into steps beside me."If you train alone,you'll only set yourself up for failure."Inarie explained as we neared our training field."Leave.The two of you will only get in the way."I spat making them stop.Hurt shone in Zorie's eyes and Inarie sneered back."Come on Zorie.We don't need him to train."And with that they left me to train in peace.Why did I get such a weak team?I wandered punching a training post.They won't stop me from passing,even if I must turn on them to due so.I thought pulling our my book of jutsu.
