Chapter7 Mission gone wrong

Mona'sPOV

(Twelve hours into the mission)The sun is setting

"Leaves are green,to prove their plants."Inarie retorted to one of Zorie's random comments."All plants aren't green."She shot back making me along with Kyoto sigh,knowing one of their argument were coming.I walked along side the ravenett who was more quiet than usual.He watched the ground as we all walked and seemed to be in deep thought."You okay?"

Nodding he continued to watch the ground."Mona.Tell Inarie he's wrong."Zorie demanded pouting in frustration."Inarie your wrong."I breathed feeling his glare on the back of my head."Sensei."Kyoto whispered getting my attention while the other two argued senselessly.He looked up but his eyes moved to the side watching something.Following his gaze I spotted a woman moving but watching us through the trees.Her wild red hair bounced as she jumped from tree to tree.Her chakra must have been masked because I couldn't feel it."Get them to the border,and no matter what you hear don't come back."I whispered to Kyoto who nodded and moved towards Inarie.The red head looked back just in time to get kicked in the side by said ravenett."Ouch!Get the f*** back here coward!!!"Inarie shouted after Kyoto who scooped a blushing Zorie up to run.That boy never stops amazing me.First putting up a fight,then having Inarie chase him so the red head wouldn't notice me slip away.BRILLIANT!!I thought forcing chakra to my feet and jumping to intercept the woman in mid air.I slammed hee into a tree pinning her to it in the process.She looked back at my with a look of disbelief."What are you doing watching my squad?"

She smiled back sheepishly."I wasn't following you.I was just....."She started but I pressed my kuni against her neck making her grow quiet.She looked to be in her early twenties and was dressed in a pair of black ninja pants,a black collared shirt and black ninja sandles.A thick purple rope was knotted around her waist and a sound head band was fastened around her forehead."Unmask your chakra!!"I shouted making her chuckle.As she did so I could feel her unnatural amount of chakra being revealed and It felt evil as well.In a quick motion I was thrown back and scrambled to dodge a slash from her sword.After putting a good distance between us I looked back at her reading for another attack.She simply dispersed into water leaving me confused.A water clone?I asked my self looking over at the spot she had once stood.A single photo was in her place and I picked it up looking at it.The photo was of the woman but in different clothes.She looked familiar but I couldn't put a finger on where I'd seen her."Who are you?"I whispered looking down at the picture clenched in my fists.

Kyoto'sPOV

Stopping at the border and sitting down Zorie I turned to catch Inarie's fist,putting it behind his back in one swift motion."Where here now stop before I break it."I threatened shoving Inarie forward.He regained his balance and glared over his shoulder at me.Ignoring him I looked around to see a sand ninja crawl out a bush and make her way to me.She was about a year older than me and had twin blond puffs on her head and sported a black ninja dress along with an over sized fan.She blushed and handed me a small scroll."Get this to the hokage at all cost.And be safe."The girl said before leaving.I handed Inarie the envelope and start walking.My team followed asking questions like where sensei had went."Shut up and keep moving."I said feeling an unfamiliar chakra signature coming towards us fast."Get ready!!"I called to my team running forward with mtg kuni ready.A man came from the trees at me with his kuni which I dodged Jumping back I landed in the middle of my startled team."Remember what sensei taught you about three on one?"I asked never taking my eyes off the foe."Yeah."They both said together and I nodded throwing my kuni at the man,who dashed at me.This forced him to jump to the side and Inarie was quick to do handsigns for wood clones.Zorie revealed a scroll using it to summon kuni and I did the giant fire ball jutsu.Inarie's eight clones ran close behind the fireball and when the ninja dodged it they grabbed his arms and legs so he couldn't run.Zorie threw a barrage of chakra covered shiriken which impaled the man as I weave the signs for fire ball jutsu."Fire style:Fire."I breathed sending a giant wave of fire to incinerate the enemy along with the wood clones.When the fire stopped we could see an ashy skeleton fall to the ground.With a since of accomplishment we ran past it.The trees were a blur as we took to them using the branches to travel.We were all quiet,something I liked.Atleast they could be serious when we needed it."Kyoto!"Mona's voice called and In a matter of seconds she fell into pace beside me."We got the message."I told her focusing on moving.Shadows were now the only thing under us as we moved and sensei stopped us to rest."I'm scared."Zorie whispered hugging Mona's side.Doing my best to keep calm I lit a small camp fire which everyone sat around.
