Chapter8 Determination

Kyoto'sPOV

Two days later

Left right.Duck dodge step back.Attack!I thought dodging one of Inarie's punches and landing a powerful blow on his side.

Panting he doubled over and hurled.I looked away awkwardly scratching my head.Zorie's giggles could be heard from the post she was balanced on.The red head looked up glaring.

"So you think it's funny?"He demanded putting his hands together and closing his eyes.

Id seen his doujutsu before and knew the details.Like fire manipulation.His eyes shot open revealing orange flames as his pupils."Serious so soon?"I taunted doing handsigns of my own.He dashed at me lashing out in a barrage of attacks which I hardly dodged then right before I could catch his fist a blast of fire burst threw it forcing me to jump back.This time I panted and he laughed."KICK HIS BUTT,KYO!!!!"Zorie/kitten cheered loosing her balanced and falling on her back.Nodding I stood tall and did quick handsigns."Fire style:Fire ball jutsu."I breathed spitting the ball of fire at him.He stood there outstretching his arm and letting the jutsu sorta hit him.It seemed to cover his skin,like a layer of blazing armor.

He has gotten stronger.I thought running towards him.We both threw punches and kicks which were dodged until Inarie shot the fire armor off him at me.Gasping.I rolled out the way but my worries had only begun.The fire hit the ground forming itself into an orange flame clone."You've gotta be kidding me."I whispered backing away.

With his doujutsu active I didn't stand a chance.I realised almost tripping into the lake behind me."Don't fall."Inarie teased dashing at me from a different angle as his clone.When they reached me I ducked his clones punch being met with the red heads knee.The force threw me back into the lake and I quickly landed on the surface using chakra.They followed and I was met with Inarie's foot which I caught and pushed back.The flame clone lunged at me and I dodged kicking a wave of water up making it disperse.My eyes landed on Inarie who glared then shot a giant wave of fire my way.I ran across the lake and took cover behind the closest tree.When the wave stopped the tree fell.Looking at Inarie I noticed how exhosted he was.That's how I'll win,I'll let his chakra run out.A ball of roaring fire whizzed past my ear breaking my thoughts.I warily looked at Inarie who smirked and cuffed hid wrist aiming his palm at me."Dammit."I cursed diving into the water.Holding my breath I looked up to see the hot head waiting at the top.His eyes had went back to normal and Kitten was scolding him.I surfaced and approached them with a smile tugging at the corners of my lips."Well done Inarie,but you still need some work on your control."

He smirked knowing thats as good as my compliments would get."Your turn kitten."I said pulling Zorie against my side."Don't hold back,and don't worry about me getting hurt."

She nodded and kissed me quickly knowing how it always irritated Inarie.We took a few steps back and she winked at me which I ignored."Ok.Now come at me."

Immediately she charged me jumping on me.Catching her weight I sighed.Her legs wrapped around my waist and her arms were comfortably around my neck."I don't want to fight you."She whined burying her face in my neck.I could hear Inarie groan from behind me but didn't look away from kitten."You can fight Inarie if you want to."I joked making her giggle."It's no fight if he can't touch me."She said slyly.

"I got better things to do than get burned by two idiots."The red head said leaving."Lets go find NARUTO?"Zorie recommend smiling against my lips.Kissing her back I rolled my eyes knowing that I'd have a migraine by sunset.

Kitten climbed off me and started running to the exit of our field.For a second I stood there watching her then shot after her easily falling into a light jog beside her.
