5. Farewell

"We have a special farewell tonight. Our most precious Diamond will be sliding down her last pole tonight." The Dj announced. The crowd boo'd. I laughed.

"Keshion is going to kill me." I mumbled looking into the mirror. I shrugged, braiding the front of my hair back. On both sides . I let the back stay out, so I could sling it.

I usually cover my face as much as possible, but tonight was different. I walked to the end of the stage.

"The crowd began cheering as soon as they saw me. Bad and Boujee blared from the speakers as I used every inch of the stage, giving my best performance yet. I couldn't even see the crowd through the cloud of flying money. They didn't matter to me though. I always pretended I was dancing in the mirror anyways. I twirled on the pole a little longer, doing some tricks I'd never even tried before as I went higher and higher, higher than I've ever been.

I slid down into my split, and collected my money in a hurry.

Goodbye Blingsville.

I changed clothes and exited the club. Keshion and Daniel were waiting on me at my car when I got there. I froze not knowing how to react. I thought I had time to think about what to say to him.

Keshion Campbell

"Here fool." Daniel said handing me a stack of cash.

"About time niglet." I mumbled.

"You lucky I'm giving you this shit, I could've been at Diamond's farewell dance. By the looks of Snapchat I missed a good damn show." Daniel said. I looked at him for a second, and he covered his mouth.

"Let me see." I said.

"I don't know if you-"

"Show me." I stated. He hesitantly handed me his phone. One look and I dropped it, storming to my car. He got in the passenger seat. He was hella mugging me, and I knew it was about his phone, so I ignored him. We pulled up at the club, and got out. I found her car and waited there until she came out.

She froze when she saw me.

"You don't fucking listen." I said, my teeth gritted.

"It was a farewell dance." She said.

"I told you never again." I said.

"And I won't." She said. I shook my head.

"I could kill you right now. I'm so pissed off at you. That shit ain't cute. Your body ain't for all these niggas to be seeing." I told her.

"I'm sorry Keshion. I wasn't tryna disappoint you." She mumbled, she looked down. I sighed, pulling her into a hug.

"I don't want these niggas out here disrespecting my blood. You know I'm behind you ten toes down." I told her.

"I love you big bro."

"I love yo ass too." I mumbled.

"Lil sis or big bro finna pay for this phone screen I know that." Daniel mumbled. We laughed.

"Meet me at my house." She told us. We separated, and made our ways to her apartment.
