Kaelyn Campbell
It had been two days since I talked to Keshion, or since Daniel had. He slept on my couch, and barely ate anything for two days until I had enough. I sat on the edge of the couch. He glanced down at me.
"I know how you feel. When my bestfriend Riah dropped me, I did the same thing. It hurt worse than a damn heart break. The shit tore me apart for a whole day yes, but you've exceeded your pity limit. Get up, and get off of my couch." I nudged him.
"I can't be his homeboy and an employee, and I'm not going to work under him after he's pissed off that I'm with you." He told me.
"Then don't be with me." I told him. He sat up for the first time since Keshion left.
"That's dead. You're my girl. That's not going to change." He told me.
"When did I become your girl? Just two days ago you said we were just friends." I said.
"You wanna be my girl or not? What's up?" He said.
"I don't think that's how you ask somebody out." I told him. He starred at me for a second, and we both laughed.
"My fault. I'm new to this. Will you be my girlfriend Kaelyn?" He asked.
"I'd love to be your girlfriend Dany." I smiled. He wrapped his arms around me.
"You're really all I need." He said.
"No. You need a shower." I said, unwrapping his arms from around me. He just kissed his teeth.
"Alright. Come on. I'll drop you off to school on my way home ." He told me. I grabbed my bag and followed him out the door.

"You're late." Jordan said as soon as I sat down.
"I wasn't going to come, so be happy."I shrugged.
"You wanna play skipsies and go get some food?" He asked.
"I didn't even drive myself here. Daniel dropped me off. "
"You been spending a lot of time with Daniel haven't you?" Jordan asked.
I nodded, "He's my boyfriend."
"Since when?" Elijah asked. I turned to look at him.
"So when Jordan is here you can talk to me?" I asked.
"So you date drug dealers now?" He asked.
"So you care about me now?" I asked.
"Stop." Jordan said.
"She gave me so many reasons why she wouldn't date me, and Daniel fits the description of half of them." Elijah said to Jordan.
"Well you fucked me over despite my list, so maybe I decided that the list was bullshit." I said.
"It always was bullshit!" He exclaimed.
"I don't know why you're so concerned right now fam." I said. He just took a deep breath. My phone rang.
"Danny 😝😍 would like to FaceTime" showed on the screen. I smiled, sliding over to answer.
"On my life your brother just pissed me off." Danny said immediately.
"So he's talking to you again?" I ask.
